- On each image you are allowed at most one google search.
- You may not click on any of the results from that google search, but must make any inferences from what you get.
Adds a little extra challenge (not that you need it when you find yourself in the middle of a country road). Even with this limitation, I was able to get one to within 12 metres, which I was very proud of

I say no google searches. Just guess. And you're only allowed 10 seconds. I got lucky on my highest score(above) cause I'd actually been to the place and recognized the bay.
Furthermore, or also (as an aside, maybe) there's no way this is street view. In one shot, I was at the top of a ski slope, no road anywhere. Unless this was the last sight of a gruesome wreck, then there's no way a car took this.

Nah, part of the fun is being a detective! You want to have time to look at everything available, check things like the location of the sun (can tell you which hemisphere sometimes) and whether there are any useful road signs nearby. Sometimes there are cars with license plates, that sort of thing. 10 seconds isn't enough time for that.
At one point I got a camera shot that was half submerged in water. If you moved in one direction you ended up under the water with a diver in front of you, and if you went the other way you found yourself moving along a sandy beach. Very cool. Turned out to be somewhere in the Great Barrier Reef.

Yeah, my wife agrees. But it took her ten minutes to play one round whereas I'm done in less than a minute.

Alright, I'm gonna give that a shot. Here's my challenge link. Score was around 22000, by far my best. I usually score around 10000.
