Today was supposed to be a good, chil day. Subing for French, which I don't speak, so I wasn't going to have much to do other all day. THen I get to school. It's yearbook day, the classes have all been shortened to alllow an hour and a half at the end of the day for kids to wander around signing yearbooks. Fine. I'm expeccted to supervise this mob. Also fine. I go check my lesson plans, they are hyper-detailed lengthy plans crammed full of activities. Fine. Apparently, the teacher didn't know about hte shorteneed schedule, so alll of the periods have a plan for a 55 minute class, not a 30 minute class. Shit.

It's not my fault nothing will get done, it's the teacher's for not knowing about yearbook day and planning accordingly, but I'm going to be stressing all day trying to accomplish these now-impossible lesson plans.

Talked to a bunch of friends I hung out with 2 nights ago, and they don't want to tell me what I got up to...

Which means it's either too horrible, or too hilarious to tell.

the weee belfast mucker that works with us is down at our apartment, picking music on youtube for us to lsiten too.
Dance shite, fucking dance music.

Then, when I said "that's shite" he had the audacity to inform me it was better than any of that rock dung I listen too, and that the guys making dance music are far more talented than anyone playing a guitar.

As he plays a load of songs that sample rock and other guitar driven stuff.

I'd like to give him the drinking card to get out of it, but hes only had 4 pints of magners.

I'm not getting certain channels on my TV anymore. It is.... disheartening. I used to have like 70. I've probably lost half of them for no reason.
Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

Foot is freaking killing today... It may just be that I really need to stretch it out but at the same time I'm worried that the thing has got worse, and I really don't want that. Hospital appointment on tuesday, and I'm doing nothing to aggravate it til then!

Had an unfortunate encounter with my friend's sister last night. In the light of day, anyway. She'd, uhh, grown since I'd seen her last. What a disaster, it was like that Hahn Light ad but without the self-awareness and without the walking away. She did not look 16...
