Messing with my groove, for the first time in years I'm temporarily staying with my parents as I'm back at Uni doing my PhD and my marital home is 100 miles away. It's shit being 29 and staying with your parents. Not only this I just knocked out my old school fitness routine, 3 and a bit miles and 5 minutes of push-ups, did it quick and felt strong but my fucking legs are bloody like jelly now, I have become weak during my years living in Scunthorpe, it's time to rebuild myself...

I'm currently amused that this is a 'fast' reply as I'm fasting. Being this hungry should be a sin.

I am depriving myself so my doctor can take blood in about an hour and figure out if my high insulin levels were a fluke during the last round of blood tests or not.

I'm such a dick! I was just walking through the hospital to my lab and thought I caught a relatively attractive gentleman checking me out. So, since I'm a vain bastard, I was checking how I looked in a window and promptly managed to slip and fall smack on the floor. Ha ha! In these cases the proper response is to jump up and run away but since I was in a hospital, a lot of devoted careworkers were about and they all came to make a fuss over me, thus prolonging my agony. Then we all had a huff about how the corridor roof was leaking and how I probably slipped on that (when I didn't, I just totally fell over nothing) but how nice of them to give me an excuse. Now that I think about it, my knee really frickin hurts too....and my ankle for that matter.

Pride quite literally comes before a fall in this case!!! I'm so embarrassed and it had been so long since I last fell down too.

Annoyed that I am stuck in the office when the School I teach at was cancelled after lunch due to a Typhoon hitting now i will have to stay here and make my way home in the full force of the typhoon arse useless boss not letting me leave now where I could relax and do something seful like watch TV (although that is all in Japanese which isn`t a good start for comprehension).
