Yeah, I somehow managed to tell my SO she is scarier than a monster in a monster movie...

Hang on, that *isn't* a complement?

I've genuinely been told this more than once...

Why wouldn't you want to be scarier than the monsters?

Depends on which movie.

Got up to get a drink and popped my head into Rip's room to check on him and totally freaked when I saw his bed was emptied. He had climbed out of his bed (it's a pirate ship so it has sides on it), rolled or crawled a ways, and ended up against the wall behind his massive bean bag.

Scared the living shit out of me.

Yesterday I was trying to find something in the closet when I heard my almost-three year old screaming. I go running, turns out he opened the door to go out to the garage and then climbed a step ladder so he could push the button to raise the big garage door. The dog promptly ran out by the road which scared him. I get outside to see my son standing in the driveway, by himself, pointing and crying at the dog who was headed out into the road. I got everyone back inside and it was ok, but scared the shit out of me. No idea he would ever take on himself to leave the house.

That's horrible.

My son unlocked the front door when he was two. I walked out of the den to check on him and couldn't find him anywhere. I started yelling his name and then I heard him crying. Open the front door and he is sitting on the front step. We live right next to a creek and shit. From that day we have locked every door in the house and we keep the keys tacked up high so he can't reach them.

We also now have the garage door unplugged after he climbed unto the bar fridge and opened it once.

Mostly it's terrifying because of 'what could of happened' but also because you just know your kid is a master escape artist and you now have to investigate every sound or lack of sound just in case they've found a new brilliant way of escaping the house.

John Hurt, Bill Paxton...I'm not going to like this year much if this pattern keeps up.

I would assume Instagram has a ban function for that sort of stuff. Depending on where he is from you could even notify the authorities of that country. Sending dick picks to a 13 year old girl is illegal in most places.

Ugh, BK, hope you can sort something out with that, that blows!

As for me, slightly less MWMG than that, it's snowing heavily here. Britain just can't cope with snow. Got to go out later as well, meaning I have to make my way through all the idiots... :p

Well that was short lived. The snow has all but gone now. Hopefully means less idiots on the road now!

This.

BK, report him to Instagram, they should ban him, and I think you are entitles to report this to the police. This is very illegal, and he could get in trouble for this.

We did. He pulled the same thing with her friend. Law notified after that. Our Paraishes have an internet youth crime division.

If he is British let me know. I'm a cop I can do something about it. :p

EDIT: I don't have two guns, I'm just mad about it, that sort of thing annoys me. Feel like I should clarify in case you think I can go and kick the door in and shoot the scumbag. Not going to happen I'm afraid. :)

That sucks BK. Just so you know, some dutch guy tried to do the same kind of thing (online bullying) to a Canadian girl and he is not on trial for his actions in Netherlands. There are somethings you can do.

Messing with my groove is the fact that Netlfix's Altered Carbon is filming on campus RIGHT NOW and I can't figure out where the hell they are. I'm fanboying so hard over this someone please HELP.

A friend of mine who moved to the states is currently huddled in her bathtub, freaked out of her mind because there's been a severe tornado warning issued for where she lives. As an Aussie unused to such weather, she's convinced her house is going to be destroyed in the style of Aunt May's in Twister.

She moved to Indiana a month ago. She's legitimately terrified plus she has no idea what to do. She's just working off movies she's seen. What do you do when your town issues an imminent tornado warning?

If you have a basement, go there. If not then the innermost closet or bathroom with no windows.

I know she's probably freaked, but we have these all the time. You get used to them.

If she's worried to go to sleep, tell her to download a weather app that will go off if they issue a warning in your area.

She received a warning by text I think. Apparently she's been getting warnings all day but this one was extreme or imminent or something.

She's in the bathroom, I might suggest the closet to her as well. Cheers!

No problem.

Yeah, theres been a Tornado Watch all day and until 4AM, that just means the weather is favorable for a Tornado.

They just issued a warning a while ago that means one has been spotted by person or on the radar.

I'll be in Indiana Thursday if she needs anything! Ha.
