Eh, that sounds like effort.

And like you need a ceiling fan.

I understand this annoyance Simeon. I frickin love a day when you get a load washed and dried in the same day. Which I did do today because...south east :fun:

Traitor!!

We are thinking of getting a dryer but haven't really got space for one so there is a lot to consider.

There is such a device as a washer-drier. It takes up exactly the same space as a washing machine and because it condenses there is no need for vents etc it just goes down the machine waste. Put clothes in, come back later take them out and put them away. Why do more people not have these? It was probably the second appliance we got (after the fridge) when we got our house. Or if you really want to hang it up outside just don't select one of the drying options when it is sunny out.

The only time I've ever seen one of these was in our StayDublin apartment rental in Dublin. It worked like a charm, but I've never seen one anywhere else. It is weird that you don't see more of them to be honest.

Depends how often you walk round an appliance store :)

Well, I should clarify, I've not seen them in Canada where I live. :)

Seems like a minor issue compared to what others have going on.

Trying to find a new house to live in (needing a 4 bed as my in-laws are moving up from down south and we will split costs (thank god I like them lol), finding a property isn't a problem, the problem is that every landlord/letting agent has a thing against pets and is making this whole thing a great big chore.

Pets are an integral part of a most modern families and you can go and blow a goat if you think I'll be ditching my 2 cats or if I'm going to pay you double the deposit, which puts it at 2 BLOODY GRAND (that's just a deposit, also need a further 1 thousand for a months rent up front), just so I can keep them in the house.

Had the cats for 2 years, you want to know the value of the damage done to my current property? £50 quid, that was because we put in a cat flap and will need to replace a door panel.

Please any landlords of Malaz, love thy Tenants and let them have pets.

Its the old case of a few bad apples ruining the bunch.

I let my tenants have cats, although a few times, after spending a day cleaning dirty litter out of "how the fuck did this get here" places, I wish i didnt.

Cant do dogs though, at least not in apartment buildings. I tried it for awhile and its impossible. It causes waaaay too many problems.

If your problem was a dog i'd tell you to try and get it registered as a service dog, then its illegal to tell you no.

Not sure there is such a thing as service cats though.
I've always been crazy but its kept me from going insane.

Yah but at Costco they only come in packs of 12.
They came with white hands and left with red hands.

It's always cheaper in bulk, and you can sell the other 11 of the back of mysterious trucks - of which you bought 12 in the Costco car park I might add!

P.S. I'm assuming Costco is some kind of value department store, never having been across the pond I am really not sure.

Costco is exactly that and a surprisingly good one (way more benevolent than Walmart).
I survived the Permian and all I got was this t-shirt.

It is.

In fact, whenever I need an entire pallet of goldfish crackers, I knows where to go!

It's been my experience that vs Costco, for almost everything (that isn't a generic Kirkland product) Amazon Prime is close enough in price to not make a difference, the stuff you want just comes to your door AND you don't have to buy twelve of everything.

Feh. Ghah. Soooo. Warm. Why?

Any temperature over 26 degress Celcius should be banned, unless it is for cooking food, making coffee, or maintaining atomic fusion inside the sun because life and all that. But other than that, meh. Why has nobody invented fan hats yet or, if they have, managed to make them fashionable and affordable. I guess you could run them on solar power, which makes the whole thing self-sustaining. My brain melts.
Yesterday, upon the stair, I saw a man who wasn't there. He wasn't there again today. Oh, how I wish he'd go away.

I am of the belief that any temperature over 18C is too hot. If I could afford it, I would have an AC installed and keep my homes temperature at a constant 10C. It would be wonderful.

I'm sort of between Apt and Gorefest here, 20-22 is the perfect range, anything higher is too hot simple as - you need a decent breeze as well if you're outside._

It did break 30 where I am, was 33-34 here in London for a couple of days this week.
