Done. Hopefully he ll get a ban that. I ll type what he said and edit

Yo dick sucking white cracker ass is getting lucky with your virgin ass lane name. I'm hacking yo white ass and selling your info to the deep web u white bitch. And I'm going after your family bitch

That's letter for letter that my son saw sitting next to me.

I don't see why his grammar should suffer, just because he's irate and threatening you and yours.
I also think he hasn't got a bloody clue what the 'deep web' if he's going to reference it thusly.
What an absolute wank stain!!
I hope he gets a well deserved ban.

The mother of that kid who fell into the gorilla enclosure at the Cincinnati zoo...from those that work there the kid would have had to crawl under a 4 foot railing, across three feet of bushes, up another stone wall and through the wires that topped the stone wall, and THEN dropping down into the enclosure below. There is a difference between briefly taking your eye off your kid and them running off or getting into mischief...but if you are not watching them close enough that they get through ALL of the above before you notice them gone....you should not be a parent. Full stop. Zoo is in business 40+ years with no incidents...the enclosure is fine. Bottom line I hope that the death of this innocent gorilla (Harambe) and endangered lowland silverback haunts this woman for the rest of her life.

Aside from all else, the video clearly shows Harambe guarding and protecting the kid, treating him like a baby gorilla and only drags him through the water when the people above are all shouting...so he takes him down the enclosure to get away from the noise and commotion.

Messing with my groove. I understand the zoo had to make a call (I don't believe in zoos at all though, I should note) and save the kid...but all the blame for the death of this poor animal needs to be laid at that negligent mothers feet. Accidents happen...but 4 years old's don't get through all that security without a parent who is not paying attention. So sad.

Agreed. I think that the parent should be investigated, fined and probably charged with whatever the US equivalent of gross negligence and failure to provide basic care are. A civil action by the Zoo wouldn`t be entirely off side.

That said, I know what the vid shows and what people keep saying, but the 'like a baby gorilla' thing is not accurate - it`s a gorilla considering a human child. No way to know whether he would kill the kid, even by accident, in seconds if they had gone with the trank and miraculously managed the shot and dosage at that moment.

Don't worry, QT. Every time she looks at her child and sees The Mark of the Ape upon it, she will know who its true parent is and weep.

Waited to long to take my stitches out and the skin grew up over the threads. So I ended up having to cut it back open a bit to get the scissors under the threads. But they're out.

Ewwwwww!

Is this how the stitches went in? :(

Being haunted forever by a gorilla is a pretty interesting idea though. QT if you're ever gonna write the Great Canadian Novel I think you landed on the perfect seed for the story.

Ugh everyone's being sick! First my boy, for the last couple of days. Then my wife started this eve. Now my daughter. And I've just spent a good 20 minutes clearing up her bed, floor and random books that got in the way.

Me next I guess, I wonder how long I can hold out?!
So that's the story. And what was the real lesson? Don't leave things in the fridge.

Sods law Treveller is that you will either:

A) Not get ill at all and be thanked for all the fantastic nursing you have done; or

:p be ill worse than the lot of them.

Based on experience my money is on B.

On a side I hope that your family starts to feel better quickly

Thanks. I woke up feeling rough; wife is really not up to much, so based on past experience I called in sick.
My girl is ok but not keeping anything down, and I attempted to eat something earlier and.. well, it didn't work out!

And my boy, who was sick for two days and probably gave it to everyone? He got up, ate a big breakfast, and is wondering what all the fuss is about.

It's really windy and rainy out, the plus side at the moment is that my girl has discovered Futurama and is binge watching it which is fine by me.
So that's the story. And what was the real lesson? Don't leave things in the fridge.

Still no feckin baby 14 days overdue! Still both in good health at least. Spent the day in a stand off with a really annoying consultant over being induced vs waiting. He directed most of his discussion at Mr PigDog instead of me which resulted in me digging my heels in over everything he said. Possibly not the right time to get belligerent but serves him right. I am allowed to wait 2 more days. Stupid baby and stupid doctors!

I'll cross my fingers the baby comes in the next two days.

Also, I hope you railed at the doctor for speaking to your husband instead of you with regards to YOUR body. That's awful.

C seeectionn...

Hope you're in a good maternity unit where there is some communication between drs and madwives.

Got everything crossed for you - nearly there! (If you go the epidural route get in early - in our place they often leave it too late and then it's not possible to put one in, which happened to my wife)
So that's the story. And what was the real lesson? Don't leave things in the fridge.

When I was in the hospital for a week, I found that occasionally, having a translator between the doctor/nurse and me was useful - if the doc/nurse was kind of a dumbo. Me being aggravated and speaking directly to the doctor/nurse who would make me more aggravated was not ideal, so I'd made it clear to the person who was with me that I wanted this or that beforehand - and the translation/running interference would commence.

So... maybe you two can embrace the new role your SO has now discovered and you can work on communicating with eye glares, facial expressions, and hand gestures in between sessions of pretending the talk isn't happening.

That was another sticking point today. Had a measurement scan because he's really big and it came out estimated at 10lb 12oz / 4.9kg. The lower size limit for recommending c-section here is 5kg so I said I'd be happy to go for elective. Junior doc said yes but the annoying consultant refused. I might dig my heels in even more depending on how things unfold over next few days. I'm not planning to be a "natural" martyr!

Totally. We had to nag and persist and not budge an inch when confronted by drs trying to talk us out of asking for an elective. 3 Consultants we spoke to, and in the end she got what she wanted.

Yes, we got a great deal more of an emotional, memorable experience from the first natural birth, but way longer recuperation and healing time and pain than the c section. Looking after a thin line of accessable stitches on your belly is way easier than getting them somewhere else.
So that's the story. And what was the real lesson? Don't leave things in the fridge.
