Malaysian anklebiter spider. Very deadly.

Can't be, my guard cobra would have seen something

So I went to the doctor and asked for a nose spray against hayfever symptoms because I can't really eat the pills like they're candy. What I got was something against asthma. I am so freaking tired of docs who don't know what they're doing. Of course they wouldn't, with taking barely two minutes time for each patient, AND not letting me even talk. So I'm basically left with medicating myself again.

Puck, have you ever tried honey? I was told that if you eat a lot of locally produced honey (the closer to home the better) that it helps to alleviate symptoms of hayfever. May be worth a try and it tasted good!

Heatwave conditions here. 40C+ temperatures. I actually abandoned a couple of things I had to do today as when I was outdoors in the afternoon I was feeling dizzy. There is no way I am risking passing out in this heat.

Eh, that's not proven, and you need different types of honey to actually try it - honey produced in March/April contains different pollen from honey produced in June/Juli, and you have to start eating it a year early. I use locally produced honey instead of sugar whenever possible (like, for tea) since before getting hayfever, and I doubt it makes a difference. Apparantly it does for some people, but again, that's not proven. My mom's a natural medicine fanatic, so I've heard a lot about alternative stuff, but all that's actually helped up until now was stuff I could get at the pharmacy. Maybe I'm too much of a sceptic.

Messing with my groove today: another sleepless night.

I've had two appointments today. With neither, despite having an appointment, did I get to talk for more than a minute. Maybe two. Something's clearly wrong with the system.

what is the actual medicine that they gave you? Hay fever is closely linked to asthma, so there are plenty of drugs that will work for both. Especially when it comes to fighting certain symptoms. Just because it says 'asthma remedy' on the package, doesn't mean that they gave you the wrong thing necessarily. If it is something like an antihistamine treatment or steroid spray, you'll be fine.

Yesterday, upon the stair, I saw a man who wasn't there. He wasn't there again today. Oh, how I wish he'd go away.

It would be fine if it were adressing my symptoms. I know that some asthma medicine is used to relieve allergic asthma, but I don't HAVE allergic asthma. My respiratory system is just fine. What I have is a swollen shut nose, and they have sprays for that specifically which contain the same ingredients and are made by the same manufacturer as the asthma sprays except they're MADE to relieve a different set of symptoms by a different application. And last time I checked (because with my hayfever I AM likely to get asthma at some point), it's NOT advisable to take asthma medication just for the hell of it.

Also, the doc didn't even bother to explain. She prescribed me stuff for allergic asthma (she called it that, and again, I don't HAVE allergic asthma, and I'm pretty hung up about that because if I keep getting ignored by doctors, at this rate I WILL get it), then hushed me out of her office because the waiting room was chocke full of people.

If it's just a blocked nose, why not make your own nasal spray? Put 1/4 teaspoon of non-iodized salt and 1/4 teaspoon of baking soda in 250 of boiling water, mix, let it cool down, then stick it in a nasal spray bottle and try it. That's basically what most nasal sprays are. Raise the salt content to half a teaspoon if it isn't providing enough nasal decongestion. The baking soda isn't technically required, but it makes the spray sting a bit less.

Is there anything else in your name that she's using? Because I would get it changed ASAP - although make your lawyer aware of it. That's shitty behaviour 101.
