It's the exact opposite of your situation, but I really can sympathize. I was out at 2:30 this morning, riding the tractor up and down the road thinking "Please don't be dead Tanner." Then the little shit turned up sitting in the middle of the road appearing all innocent. At that point I understood the phrase "If you're dead I'm going to kill you."

My father wanted to talk to me last night, but I wasn't available because I was in a library studying. It turns out he wanted to ask about buying an IPhone. I don't know which one of his friends talked him into it but he went and bought an IPhone 6S 64 gig yesterday. I really want to strangle the guy who suggested that horrible thing to him.

Also, 4 midterms and two essays due in two day, no time management SUCKS.
Do I write two suboptimal essays and get some sleep to do well on the mid terms or do I do it the other way around?
I can also go the caffein way, but then I may crash in the middle of the day tomorrow... (I've been shaken awake by bus drivers at the end of the line at the end of Caffein highs)

PS. I don't mean to offend anybody with the IPhone talk, but I hate apple product and I'm the one solving my dad's smartphone problems from (literally) 30000 KM away ...

I can't believe I'm writing this as I write it. My four barn cats. Two of them are adorable in the only way a "there is a special place in hell for the person who abandons a kitten once they've fed it."

You're in Toronto if I recall correctly?

I'm in northern PA. Which means that shipping a live animal wouldn't be all that expensive......

That's thoughtful, but I think my wife and I could not handle another kitty after this. The dog is middle aged, and we will have to one day face letting him go too.

Thanks anyway though man. ^_^

Merry/Pippen thank you not having to put them through that process.

I was standing outside, smoking a cigarette when I realized that the four of them were a near perfect group. Fatty Bulgar, Merry/Pippen, and Frodo (the one who disappears the moment it sees that you can see it)

10 seconds later I realized that I had just named them. *beats head against wall*

I had one of my cats die of kidney failure but thankfully the rest of my animals have passed of old age. It's still no less shocking and feels like you lost your best friend. My German Shepherd has tried to kill herself several times in her life from jumping over a 3rd floor apartment balcony and landing on a bush miraculously saving her life, to biting another dog but the DA saying she was only trying to "protect the kids playing in the front yard" when she bolted out the garage door so she wasn't put down... She is somehow almost 11 now and i've had her from a puppy. They don't live much past 12. It's never easy to take, and terrifying when they get closer and closer to the end. I hope you find some peace from all this QT. We're here for you.
If your cat wasn't meant to fly, why wouldn't they make them bigger?

Thanks. That's where our kitty came from all those years ago. It seems forever and a day ago now. I don't know if we'd ever get another cat, but if we do it would certainly be another rescue for sure.

The first tree pollen are out and about.. What the hell, nature? IT'S FEBRUARY! And I've still two months to go before I can take any meds as I'm still due a month of allergy shots in March. All I can do is hope the birch tree will keep away from the party for a while yet, as that's my mortal enemy right there.

And I've been wondering why I'm already snorting blood. *sigh*

It's been a hot winter in Louisiana so I expect pollen soon as well. Luckily I don't get allergies

Lucky you!

Life's already hell between April and August, the early start this year doesn't make me happy at all - though it was to be expected as there's been no winter, basically. I think I'm going to resurrect my dream of moving to Siberia or something. Early start certainly soen't mean an early end to the hell that is the warm time of the year.

It's "one of those weeks" at work. Got trainees but I'm only recently signed off to do the stuff I'm training them for so it is the half blind leading the blind at the moment. Made a hash of all sorts of stuff this week. The pressure is on to get my trainees trained in time for my maternity leave. I'm not worried to go off and leave the company in the shit but y'know I'd rather avoid it if I can.

I miss young solidus and liquid snapes.
And the missus.
Fuckin double edged swords.
Why can't I just get a single edged sword, and cut in one direction?
