Daylight savings. Charting in a medical record at 1am looks ridiculous when you chart 1am twice. Plus it made me work an extra hour and now I am tired. Meh.

There is a bird living in my bedroom wall...... The stupid previous owners fitted a random shower and extractor fan in the bedroom and the bird is nesting in the extractor fan cavity. I don't really mind the bird so much apart from its occasional annoying rustling but I'm ripping out the shower and having the cavity filled in so I have to make the bird homeless which is making me feel bad. Winter is coming, the little fella might die!!

Had a job interview on Saturday, one of 4 candidates they selected for interviews.
The office manager said they will let me know "on Monday".

Apparently, I was a runner-up. If I don't find an articling position by next year ( 10 months from now), they'll gladly take me so as not to need to look for someone again, but right now, I'm SOL.

Decided to start watching Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood after taking a break from it for awhile as I'd watched the original only six months prior and this was just too close to the source material for a second run. Turns out I left off right before the episode about the Chimaera Alchemist. Fuck. Right in the feels.

I haven't had a nightmare in a long time... but last night...
You know, my dog is getting pretty old for his breed, he no longer even wants to run or even jog anymore, gets tired by half hour walks, doesn't really want to play either. Last night I had a nightmare where spots of blood would well up on his fur from below, and his claws and teeth would just start coming out, falling out, like he was starting to rot, falling apart right before my eyes. I can't shake the image from my head. He's just sitting there, all confused and scared, and I can't do anything to save him. I think this is the worst nightmare I have ever had in my life.

My son is still in the hospital,there is nothing medically wrong with him but he had to pass a car seat challenge before they discharge him. He has to sit in his car seat for 90 minutes without setting the monitors off. Longest 90 minutes ever...

More on a different note, I've heard from good sources that in a few months I might get sent to Malmö to join my new company's exports outpost there. Now, this is one hell of an opportunity, but... it's a prospect of leaving for a considerable amount of time. Wouldn't want to leave the gf behind if we're still together by then, and I wouldn't want to put her in a situation where she has this kind of choice, if she has one even at that point. So, much to consider, much to look out for.
