It's the middle of march, but winter is acting like a student and trying to catch up right at the end, so we get blizzards and snowdrifts everywhere and I only have my trainers with me...

I get it in Feb/March every year. Tree pollen I think.

We had a date all planned for completing on our house move.. days off work arranged, truck provisionally booked.. and the idiots in the house we're buying say they need 4 more weeks to arrange somewhere to rent. What the f have they been doing for the last 2 months?!

Moving house is a pain in the ass.
So that's the story. And what was the real lesson? Don't leave things in the fridge.

Nah, it's hay fever.. Runny nose, puffy eyes.. Bleh.. And since last year I seem to have become very sensitive to the smallest amount of pollen flying around ^_^ That's expected but kind of new as until last year I was free of any kinds of allergies :wub:

We were certainly beaten by a better side, but I have issues with the ref and Eddie Butler's appalling commentary. Some of the build up left a sour taste as well - directed at any nation but England it would be called racist.

Some people really need to learn that poking BACK is not a good idea when the other person has the capability to make your life unpleasant. :wub:


In other news: an earthquake in Auckland today. I swear I am the ONLY person who did not feel it. Go figure. I think I have a limited-radius "anti-earthquake" field going or something. Not necessarily a bad thing. XD

I've never been the shy and retiring type when it comes to personal insults, so if poked i WILL poke back, usually hard enough to prevent further pokage. However, I now hear through the village grapevine that the Landlord is being vaguely reconciliatory. As the next pub is a four mile walk away I will be suitably gracious in accepting his shallow apology.

Actually, you want to be careful there. If you DO get hit by a large earthquake, you may just get to enjoy the privilege of "liquefaction" - i.e. the swampy ground you're in liquefies and turns to grey sludge, rendering the area practically impossible to build upon ever again. 'Tis the problem Christchurch has had the hardest time dealing with after their quakes the other year. :p
