See, in Norwegian you could dispel the ambiguity of that sentence by taking away the space between the two last words. In English, however, you are bound to ask two questions with that.

Or he could've, you know, used a hyphen, and removed all ambiguity as easily as taking away the space. :(

Or he could have, you know, not written something purposely ambiguous?

I think you're quoting the wrong person there, Obdi. I was merely pointing out that the sentence presented can just as easily have any ambiguity removed as if it were in Norwegian. XD

Guilty on both counts although my shit project was just a flash in the pan, finished ages ago. I'm too ashamed to say what I'm working on now.

The shitting and puking has ceased, I still have my health. Currently forcing food and lucozade into him in an effort to get him fit for the 4hr drive home. Really want to not be in Swansea right now.

It's been a couple complicated days for me because of own drive to stop people from being racist/sexist/homophobic asshats in public. It actually ended up in me getting in a fist-fight at the bar, something I generally try to avoid because as a kid I was violent and pretty much a bully for a good part of elementary and junior high (for reasons I now understand better but as a kid it was more like 'got to be man and solve problems with me fists'). Apparently stopping a man (who thought he was entitled to hit on anything that moved) from hitting on my friends girlfriend and getting pushed brings out the beast in me. Also many other things that have currently been bugging me:

The amount of people who say first-world/white-people problems like people who live in a third-world/non-white people don't have to deal with mundane bullshit like wanting a kindle instead of another e-reader or something. Turns out mostly every country in the world has a middle-class that does indeed deal with mundane problems, it isn't all starving African children and run-down shanty towns. (this is not a response to board members but some people I know)

Explaining what white privileged is to a person who has lived in a house where both parents pull down six-figures wages, has a paid off house and has five different vehicles. The person is not a bad person obviously, but before I explained to what white privileged was I had to explained to him that his family is probably in the top 5-10 percent in Canada was classified as rich thus even on top of his white privileged he was already privileged via his family's wealth (he thought only being a millionaire was seen as being rich!). Honestly I think kids should be told of there privileges in late elementary or early Jr. high

Coming to terms with when people say "Canada is one of the best Countries in the world!" they usually don't take into account the large amount of well-hidden skeletons in the closest and also coming to terms that a country I always, not only believed, but knew with all my heart was the best place to live had those skeletons in the first place. Added on top of that is my family on the mothers side suffered through residential schools and it fills me with rage/confusion/sadness.

The issue I have had with identity recently, showing signs of being a 'mixed-blood' searching for a past that wasn't mine, trying to be more Cree than modern Cree do. It's a tough thing to deal with.

Also I am pretty sure I becoming an alcoholic at the ripe age of 21 and don't know what to do about. Nothing like living up to stereotypes.

On a positive note it's all fueling my writing like never before. Nearly writing a thousand words a night. But of course I don't know if it's any good.

Edit: sorry for the long post, it got out of hand pretty quick haha

I should have said "would" instead of "could." Saying "shit science" isn't incorrect, just ambiguous.

I got sick on Christmas Day with a viral cold from one of the umpteen family members who was sick...since I've not been sick in over a year this one took me out HARD...and now both Mrs. QT and her sister are as sick. We are all coughing, moaning, snot-filled disgustoids who just want to be better.

Gods, I loathe being sick!

Out of curiosity, what are some of these skeletons? I'm interested, because my grandfather is from Vancouver and he never says anything untoward about living in Canada.

It's probably just the regular whining over things that could have been better in one of the best countries to live in. You'll find the same in Iceland, Norway, New Zealand, Japan and North Korea as well I can imagine.

Yuck. Your going to have worst breath of your life for about a month while the sockets fill up with tissue. Food gets trapped in those holes and you have to be careful washing it out. Mine was horrible lol. I wouldn't talk near anyone's face.

I think that may have just been you, BK :(

Regularly swishing a saline solution around in your mouth, especially after eating, tends to stop that.
At least, it worked for me. :(

What's messing with my groove is I still thought you were serious up to Japan (and also incrediwrong) and only got it at North Korea. Me parse post good at 4am but gooder after bedfaceslumpsleep.
Hello, soldiers, look at your mage, now back to me, now back at your mage, now back to me. Sadly, he isn’t me, but if he stopped being an unascended mortal and switched to Sole Spice, he could smell like he’s me. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re in a warren with the High Mage your cadre mage could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an acorn with two gates to that realm you love. Look again, the acorn is now otataral. Anything is possible when your mage smells like Sole Spice and not a Bole brother. I’m on a quorl.

To clear up any ambiguity, I was not casting any aspersions on Mezla's abilities as a scientist, I was remarking on the fact that she was once a scientist studying shit. As far as I know, she was quite a good one.

Mezla I am very curious about what the new project is if you are hesitant to mention it. What could possibly be that bad?

Horrible cough which won't go away, and is stopping me from sleeping. Now on antibiotics for it, and trying to keep temp down.

Oh, and I'm working tomorrow.
So that's the story. And what was the real lesson? Don't leave things in the fridge.

Still sick, it's NY Eve and of course, we are (as is usual) hosting our NY Party...but three of us are down with colds, so it's going to be lowkey, and probably sucky round our place.

Blerg.

Sick for both Xmas AND New Years.

Fuck this year...seriously, fuck it in the ear.
