My phone keeps pinging with emails...and every last one is for a Cyber Monday Deal....what's worse...some companies are sending out those emails MORE THAN ONCE!

These would be the same morons who in the 1980's considered all average Russian's to be Soviet KGB agents set on destroying the world.

Some people are just too dumb to function.

I finished Blood and Bone last night, and even with the complete absence of a Kyle-type character I came off feeling a resounding ehhh.
Hello, soldiers, look at your mage, now back to me, now back at your mage, now back to me. Sadly, he isn’t me, but if he stopped being an unascended mortal and switched to Sole Spice, he could smell like he’s me. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re in a warren with the High Mage your cadre mage could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an acorn with two gates to that realm you love. Look again, the acorn is now otataral. Anything is possible when your mage smells like Sole Spice and not a Bole brother. I’m on a quorl.

Home with sick daughter.

On the other hand, not working. So today is really a push for me, it's her groove being messed with. I just get to clean the mess out of the groove.
OK, I think I got it, but just in case, can you say the whole thing over again? I wasn't really listening.

Nah. We had DEEP SKY ahead of the rest of the world, and apparently we had THE COLDEST WAR ahead of the UK, which is irony of a similar flavour to the way the UK gets Canadian author SE's books ahead of Canada most of the time.

Metaphor-fail, Amphi. Only 333 on my view.
Anything less than max posts per page is for lesser forumites.

A few days left before the "Big E" (CVN-65 USS Enterprise) will be deactivated.

Like it's predecessor, the other "Big E" the CV-6 USS Enterprise (one of the few pre WWII aircraft carriers that survived the war and became one of the most decorated ships in WWII) it will be scrapped after the reactors and fuel are removed.

Unlike when the CV-6 was being scrapped, there probably won't be another Enterprise built in a dock close by this time.

Don't worry. Kirk and company will be by to steal it to ship whales back to the future any day now.
