Nothing as bad as Puck.

Spotify just gave me a Lamb that isn't the Lamb (as in Lou Rhhodes and her magnificent voice plus mr. Barlow), but a group of what sounds like Jehova's Witnesses who praise god in every single song. Some of those are actually fairly decent if songs-of-praise-soft-rock is your thing, but most are hideous.

Nope iPhone 5 is what people thought was coming, but it's actually the iPhone 4S (and comes out this Friday).

iPhone 5 is at least a year away, and my issue with "waiting for the next one" is that by that time people will be talking about the iPhone 6 coming down the pipe...there's always going to be a new one on the horizon. Except that my iPod Nano is on its last legs and I'd rather not have to buy a new phone AND a new iPod, so I'm am likely to go with the iPhone 4S.

The only major sticking point was being relegated to using WhatsApp to message with my gf on her Blackberry Torch since BBM isn't cross platform, but I think my needs outweigh the awkwardness of the fledgling Messaging service.

I have a Samsung smartphone too and I love it (Exhibit 4G) but my stepbrother has a BB Torch and swears by it. When the time came for me to upgrade my phone I was also tempted by the iPhone but just the fact that it doesn't support Flash put me off, never mind the cost of the thing. Or have they fixed the Flash issue now?

Anyway...my groove has been messed with because I dropped a nearly full can of soda on my kitchen floor earlier today and no matter what I wash it with it's still sticky! I've tried paper towels with soap and water, Lysol disinfecting wipes, a dishcloth with warm water, nothing seems to work! I know at this point it's probably my imagination but when I run my fingers over the wood I swear I can still feel the stickiness!

EDIT: Holy hell, I just realized how that last sentence could really be misinterpreted. <_<

As well as work, I've been getting up two or three times a night as my daughter has a bad cold which keeps her awake. And for the last two days she's been awake at 5am - which is not good when I have an 11 hour shift to get through.

Coffee is definitely my best friend at the moment.

So that's the story. And what was the real lesson? Don't leave things in the fridge.

I have a cold, my back is being an arsehole, I am a complete failure in that I'm 24 and crashing on my sister's fold-out couch in my parent's house, I have no idea what to do with all my stuff, I have handed in my resignation at work without having made other plans, I probably won't get into the universities I want, If I can even manage to apply, which looks like it's not happening atm, don't have the right transcripts or qualifications and it's been so long since I graduated that I've become obsolete, I'm lonely at work and I feel like I keep fucking up everything...I am the anti-Midas. Everything I touch turns to shit.

Also....fuck everything!
