PDA's are kind of uncomfortable for those around you likely, and regardless of whether you or Lex feel that things are just fine for you to do in public (or others convinced her of such), they totally have a right to mention it. PDA's are called that for a reason, they are "public" and therefore are open to every comment from a party who is subjected to it in such a public way. Sadly, if they "convinced her" of it, then there is a damn fine chance that she feels at least a LITTLE that way too, otherwise she wouldn't have been swayed by their opinion, so you should take that into account.

If my friends start sucking face around me I will promptly tell them to get a room...and mean it. No one really wants to have to watch that if it's not them doing it.

Beyond that, when you are alone now you can get even freakier since you haven't been doing stuff in public...trust me..."pent up" lust is better than "we do this all the time" lust.

I seem to be developing an elbow inflamation, and I have no clue what caused it. An ice bath yesterday worked a bit to reduce the swelling, but it is returning to its previous size after a day at work today even though I tried to reduce the strain i place on it when working (aka typing). Gah.

Indeed. I once dated this girl and we used to lust after each other a lot when we were in public, but instead of doing things in front of folk we'd share these intense looks of desire with each other that no one else saw. It would be like every ten minutes or so we'd look at each other and know exactly what was on the others mind... and the second we were alone...skirts got hiked and pants got dropped.

I'm puzzled as to how Chapters operates...I went to see about getting Dresden books 4-6 and saw they had them in a box set. So I checked the price and it was $37.50, which happened to be the exact same price as it would have been if I had bought each book on its own. So how is slapping them in a carboard box and then wrapping them in plastic wrap a bargain? Isn't the point of a box set being that it's a bit cheapert than buying the books on their own? Bah.

And no, I didn't buy it...I'll get it online instead.

Funnily enough I've asked them (Chapters/Indigo) more than once about this. As it's not just the Butcher set (though that was where I first noticed it as well), but with a few other "boxed sets" where the prices would be identical if you bought them un-packaged together.

The answer I got both times was an almost identical *shrug* "That's what head office sets the price to.", to which I said to them it makes no sense since the POINT of a boxed set is to offer a small discount if you purchase all 3 books at once...to no avail they just shrug.

I still go into Chapters/Indigo to "window shop" and check out books I am curious about or what is new ect. as I always have...but more often than not if I am not buying a book for my Kindle on Amazon.com, I will almost always choose purchasing online (VIA Amazon usually) not only for savings but also so that I don't have to deal with some of the policies Chapters/Indigo has...like when I look for a book on release day (CRACK'D POT TRAIL is STILL not on shelves like two weeks after its release), can't find it, and get that self-same Chapters-Shrug which drives me nutters.
