It has been proven beyond all reasonable doubt that the most powerful force on Wu is a bunch of messed-up Malazans with Moranth munitions.

The shinybums at Brigade HQ have had a brilliant idea late in our deployment after we've already (apparently as it turns out) been told our return to Australia and leave dates, made plans etc, that may end up delaying leave by 2 days. Not much, you say, until you factor in that people have booked holidays, flights etc, and their families have booked leave etc.

In some cases, we may not get leave until we have a proper place to stay in Darwin when we return. Considering the rental market is chokka, there are no rooms on base and there will be over 100 people at least looking for places, if this shit goes through it could totally fuck my leave. It's being fought by pretty much everyone, but the decisions (as usual) is being made by those who will never be affected by it.

If this fucks over my eurotrip, I may end up spending the time I planned to be over there in the cells instead, because I swear I will punch some fuckhead with rank in the face.

That would have involved getting closer to the leering slimeball and getting a better view. Oh god, I feel sullied! He kept flapping his coat around and waggling it about to make sure we all knew what he was doing. I hope it rots off.

Sometimes you can move between cars on the subway to a different one - like the one the driver is in.

Focus: A woman I'd been off and on with told me she has been dating a specific someone for the last month or so. I already sort of knew someone else was in the picture and have gone out with other women, but I'll be damned if this isn't a sinking feeling in the pit of my stomach. I think I lost my chance because 1) I didn't communicate well and 2) I live 15 minutes away and our schedules didn't match up very well. It doesn't help that he's essentially a taller, older and more metrosexual version of me - without the love for controlled violence.

I worked the heavy bag last night until I was trembling, but this feeling is still there. I have a date with a girl who asked me out Thursday and two simultaneous dates to a ball Friday, but this feeling is still there. It's completely irrational and I'm slightly angry at myself for it.

Aaaaarrrrrrggggghhhhhhh.

Bad relationship situation and an increasingly uncomfortable 3 months left until shared tenancy expires.

No. You should probably begin praying, even if you don't believe. Trauma to the ding-a-ling is not a thing to sleep on.

It appears to have stopped, but my lower back - where the kidneys are - still hurts. I'm willing to put that down to physical exertion, though.
Hello, soldiers, look at your mage, now back to me, now back at your mage, now back to me. Sadly, he isn’t me, but if he stopped being an unascended mortal and switched to Sole Spice, he could smell like he’s me. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re in a warren with the High Mage your cadre mage could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an acorn with two gates to that realm you love. Look again, the acorn is now otataral. Anything is possible when your mage smells like Sole Spice and not a Bole brother. I’m on a quorl.

I'd still hit a doctor up. Kidneys and pissing blood can be related I believe. But I'm no doctor. SO GO SEE ONE.

This is a weiner issue, there can be no ignoring it.

Not really a ding-a-ling issue any more, so we can relax a bit. It might just be a simple broken Kidney, nowhere near broken ding-dong type damage.
Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

Ok. This is what you do. I'm guessing where ever you live still has some kind of supermarket open.

Buy some cheap frozen pizza. Buy coctail sausages, shredded cheese and what ever ingredient you like but cheese and sausage are the main ingredient. Throw stuff on the pizza and put it in the microwave for about 6 minutes. Voila, delicious pizza as tasy as what you get from the local pizzaria. If you like it even more fatty try putting a couple of spoons of butter here and there on the pizza before you add the ingredients. That will make it messy.

I was too lazy to walk to the supermarket. Waited until the power came back on and got my pizza. Normally if I want pizza I'd have bought a frozen pizza beforehand, but I didn't feel like going outside today.

That is just wrong on so many levels... What you do is you go to the second best Chicago's pizzeria right down the street or if your hard up call the place that makes New York Pizza.... What you don't do is what APT said.... That is wrong just so wrong.... I think that it might go against my god.....

If you decide to make a pizza at home

a. Ignore apt and don't use a Microwave...Shudder...

b. Get a crust down at your market some sauce and cheeses and what ever toppings you like. Then start up your grill and grill yourself a Pizza....

Make sure to oil down your grill before you light it up doing so while it is warming up will cause flames to jump up at you....
First you take the dough and lightly oil both sides while your gill is getting nice and hot. Once it has reached 300 or so degrees lay your dough on the grill allow the dough to lay on each side for a couple of minutes till the edges get slightly blackened. Now you should also have the rest of you toppings already sitting out and ready to be applied as soon as the crust is done. Now take your dough off of the grill decide which side you want to use for the top of your pizza. Apply the sauce, cheeses, other assorted toppings then place the dough back on the grill. Leave till the cheese has melted down and then remove and eat.

C. IGNORE APT and do not make a pizza in the MICROWAVE... At the very least use a oven for gods sake.........

Edit: I am a pizza snob if you can't tell..... Mmmmmm now I want some stuffed from Art of Pizza...

@Venge: You'll be pleased to know that when I buy pizzas from a supermarket I opt for the Chicagotown brand. I'd never dream of doing those in a microwave - the oven is where it's at for things like that!

Ugh, not only did it bloody well snow today but now I'm apparently on the line for unpaid rent? The short of it is I switched apartments with a friend of mine back in January because she had a messy break-up with one of the people living in her apartment, and with the rent being substantially cheaper I jumped at the chance to switch places. So we went to our landlord and switched rent checks there so I wouldn't have to collect money from her (a position I hate to be in with friends). Today rolls around and I (plus my former roommates) get an email saying she hasn't even paid for February yet and that he'll be filing with the tenancy board if the back rent isn't paid by tomorrow at 4pm. I'm apparently on the line for it because of lease agreements, so now I'm stuck calling around finding out why the hell she hasn't paid her rent. Fuck fuck fuck!
And so the First denied their Mother,

doomed children of Mother Dark.

Eek! That is a pretty serious situation Ano! The thing that would worry me is whether she's even going to be able to pay the rent if she hasn't done so at this point. There's nothing worse than trying to help a friend out and being burned in the process! I hope this works out for you and there's just some mix up here which can be easily explained!

I spilled beer on my laptop keyboard and got it cleaned out right away, but still have sticky keys on the right hand side and one key doesn't work at all: the "enter" key!
