Normally I keep my whining to myself, but this time I gotta vent.

I love doing Brazilian jiu-jitsu, and accept that it'll always be an unending series of minor aches and pains. But thanks to my own incompetence and random mishaps, I now have a bum left shoulder I can't really move, a foot that got cranked too hard, one knot/small cut above my left eye and a slightly swollen cheekbone.

I can take each one separately with no problems, but all simultaneously? Graaaaaaaah.
I survived the Permian and all I got was this t-shirt.

I am ridiculuosly unfit at the moment.

I just went for my old 8km (5miles) run and only managed 39 minutes. A far way off my old times of around 35-6 minutes :p

3 minutes isn't that bad.
i've lost about 5 minutes on my usual 2K swim... damn winter and lack of outdoor sports...

Ha, its kinda the opposite here. the Middle of Summer is a horrible time or activity. Winter (temps of 15-20 Celcius) is best as all I have to do is put on a very slightly more thicker shirt and one with sleeves and I'll usually make better times even.

lol, middle of summer I work outdoors, thought the weather's in the +30s and the Sun is merciless with the UVs...

still, winter's when I find myself most out of shape.

Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

Turns out I was supposed to have some form of essay thing in for today. Seriously, what the fuck, its due in two or three hours lol, at least its only an 800 word study plan though.
But this is the fifth thing I've had to do in two weeks, gah.

I'd managed to avoid catching a cold that both my roommates and seemingly all my friends had at the same time. Just as they're all getting better, WHAM! I'm hit with a goddamn cold.

I've officially gone off the deep end. I dreamed a conversation, a particularly... romantic conversation... in typed font. I'm nuts. Might need to get away from the forum for awhile.

So rather than verbally communicating, you were tyoing forget me nots back and forth to some female? Perhaps you are going over the deep end! Either that or you had another showdown with the vodka monster!

That's the thing... it was one random exchange of typed fonts in an otherwise fairly typical, albeit long and very well put together "let's dream about ex-girlfriend 'Z'"...

Hmmm, very odd indeed Hoosier! I'm not sure what this could possibly mean. Perhaps you are frequenting the boards a little too often!

Went to bed at 12:30am last night, after a couple of drinks with some friends I hadn't seen in years. Woke up at 5am this morning to take a mate to the bus station. Stayed awake until 1:20pm for a vital appointment. Was forced to wait 45 minutes on a comfortable chair and try not to fall asleep for appointment. Have last 400 words of last Deathmatch to do while brain feels like Jack Nicholson's scrotum. Today is not a good day.
Hello, soldiers, look at your mage, now back to me, now back at your mage, now back to me. Sadly, he isn’t me, but if he stopped being an unascended mortal and switched to Sole Spice, he could smell like he’s me. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re in a warren with the High Mage your cadre mage could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an acorn with two gates to that realm you love. Look again, the acorn is now otataral. Anything is possible when your mage smells like Sole Spice and not a Bole brother. I’m on a quorl.
