Came home from the NYE party where I did not get drunk yesterday, and the second I closed the door, I had a massive fever and somthing that must have been the worst fever dreams I ever had ever. Took me the past 24 hours to get my mind into something of a working order and some more fluid than pineapple juice in me.

I just wok up, and my body is showing signs of weakness, like succumbing to some kind of an infection. I'm not surprised, given almost everyone who was at NYE with me is apparently sick now that we're all back.

was going to do some writing this christmas hols but ended up playing spellforce instead and went into zombie mode and have just surfaced and realised I've wasted a week, pissed off the missus no end. I was like hmm...time to write, but first lets play a little of this...Balls.

Spellforce 2 is pretty great, too. they got a new Expansion pack coming out in January.

Got seriously riled up on the New Year (not Eve). Friends took to calling me a 'golfer' and make references to that and laughing like hell about it... but they won't tell me why. They say if they told me it wouldn't be funny anymore. I asked them to stop several times but they just kept on doing it, so I ragequit and went home (which took me over 2 hours, by the way). I'm seriously furious about this, and I'm actually starting to question our friendship if they value having a laugh from time to time over me being, you know, fine with it, or not feeling hurt about it. How do I make them understand that this is a serious matter?

Luckily last night after work I patched it with some cardboard and my room is near pitch dark. Slept well.

Helped my friends move into their new apartment, which entailed 3 days (one for each of them) of moving beds, couches, desks, and boxes up either the (8 flights of) stairs, or packed tetris-style in the tiny elevator.

Not only is this the first Christmass Eve i'm not with family, I also have a 5 hour shift at work, so I can't have a Christmass meal with people in residence. I'm not religious, but it still feels... unsettling.

also, i'm still slightly sick, and it robs my energy levels. I have enough to get by with what I need to do (study, work), but all the time in between I feel like a zombie, totally out of it, just going through the daily motions.

I can't wait for the weekend to come, so that I can just take some time and get organized.
