I think it's bigger than the happy thread, no? Makes me think there's more Poles here than admit it.

I have 3 classes in the same room on campus, the ONLY room on campus that possesses a non-functional heater. And by non-functional, I mean stuck on, without windows, during the hottest part of the year.

Who is this mysterious "They" that can ban parties held at people's private homes? The idea is that people go to the dance for an hour or two, split well before the end time of 11:30, make their way to the party house and begin the real fun of the night. Sometimes the after-party event is a bonfire of sorts with tents in someone's backyard.

The dance is like the early middle part of the whole night out. So 11:30 is not a hard and fast thing for many - however, it may be for you and I respect that. If you're choosing to abide by that, you may want to reconsider. Perhaps you can get one of the girls to meet you at the afterparty. Or for lunch the next day.

As always, communicate with your parents and friends. Talking with them about your plans actually makes it more likely they'll happen. It's something you learn better and better as you get older.

A certain family member has since the last time we had a chat on geopolitics (we diverged massively in our points of view) been sending me articles that try and support their racist and xenophobic point of view.
I'm starting to get fucking annoyed by it.
I swore that I would not respond, I won't get dragged into this kind of shit (I deal with enough of it here) and I won't.
But I'm really really sick of seeing the stuff they've dug up.
And if I tell them to stop, it'll be an opening for them to start sending more. All I can do is refuse battle.

Block their address. You can pick your friends, but not your relatives. This way at least you can pick which relatives you talk to.

In other news, I'd be pissed at the Dockers, if it wasn't for the Hawks themselves being unable to do basic AFL fundamentals like, you know, KICK STRAIGHT ... :) :p :D :thumbup:

Yes! Big earthquake messed verily with my groove, though it did get me some spooning action as a result... so I guess that really wasn't messing with my groove. Maybe I should post those details in the other topic...

Yeah, pretty horrid performance by the Hawks. Don't worry though, the Cats will 'avenge' you next week. :D
