I haven't even made it to Jersey yet! That has been messing with my groove for weeks. I'm not quite a teacher but I generally have PhD, MSc and medical students trailing off my apron strings throughout the year. My first ever PhD student passed his first year last week. That also messed with my groove because I hates the sexist little shit and now I am stuck with him for at least 2 more years. Grrrrrrr.

It's a work in progress my dears!!

Messing with my groove today is too much to do one day! Not only did I have to get out of bed and get dressed, I also needed to get some food shopping in. So far I have made it out of bed for a bath but now I have got back in...... It's almost 5pm...... I wonder how bad the other half will take it if he gets here for our week off together and finds I have only 4 squares of dairy milk and a bag of potatoes to offer him...... He should be hunter gathering I say!

A very long phone call filled with very bad news, announcing the rainy season for the next few weeks...

That above is just a brief transcript of what I kept saying in my head for over an hour actually wishing I could shout it out loud. I wish it had been just a telemarketer trying to sell me a bunch of Super-Swiffer mops... I sure could have used some to wipe away all those ugly things that kept raining on my head the whole time...
