Summer. Don't like being hot, don't like being sticky, and definitely don't like bright weather.

Roll on autumn, cloud and rain.

Oh I'm pretty sure I have a torn meniscus.

All my running ? All my squats ?

Nope lifted a heavy box and turned on a uphill slope.

Avoiding the doc like a plague kinda hoping it magically heals.

Fuck I can't extend my leg out. This is terribly lame .. not a fan of getting old

That does not magically heal.

You need medical attention.

Counterpoint: that will totally magically heal. Get some eye of newt on there and sacrifice the next virginal chicken you can find to Hastur the Magnificent.

Not gonna lie...eye of newt has done wonders for my Thrice-Poxed Sailor's Elbow.

I am soooo sleepy and tired. And I've no idea why. This is day four, and two days ago, on Sunday, I slept in until lunch, then dragged my ass to bed at 8pm because I couldn't keep my eyes open any longer. Got up for work at 7am, fell into bed at 9pm. Same story today. I am an extreme night owl, have always been, so even as much being sleepy or tired before 1am even after being awake since 6 or 7am, never mind being tired by 10pm is not a thing for me. I hope it's just the weather or something. I almost fell asleep during D&D on Saturday. Ugh. Also have been dreaming the craziest shit the past couple nights.

Edit: I think I just figured it out. A day before this nonsense started, I started taking antihistamines from a different manufacturer than my usual one since the pharmacy didn't have my usual one in stock. And I have a history of falling asleep from a different kind of antihistamines. Bugger, that means I have to get a new prescription… *sigh*

It's crazy they haven't created a cocaine/antihistamine combo yet. I mean, it goes right up the nose anyway.

Dear god how long does fecking Love Island go on for? This shitshow is taking over my tv. At the expense of everything else; I want more Stranger Things and... absolutely anything else would be preferable. It's like being stuck on a plane next to a load of idiots talking about other idiots.

So that's the story. And what was the real lesson? Don't leave things in the fridge.

The answer is Netflix.

I have Netflix. I also have a wife who is watching Love Island!

Do you have a desktop PC or another TV? I watch most of my Netflix on my PC. Saves a lot of arguments.

Oh I have multiple ways of watching. She was watching it on her iPad but its crept it's way onto the tv after I may have said that after a shitty day at work she should be able to watch what she likes.

It's just that when it's on the tv I find it hard to avoid it, and if we've been at work all day I don't want to just disappear off into another room to watch something else. Which is why I just want it to end so we can get back to something decent we both like!
So that's the story. And what was the real lesson? Don't leave things in the fridge.

It helps if you pretend some of the Islanders are actually brain eating aliens working towards the opportunity to get their prey alone and EAT THEIR BRAINZEZ.
You have to guess which are the aliens and which are mere aspiring reality tv stars who are unlikely to provide much of a meal.

Stay safe BK.

But knowing you, you'll be in your yard with your telescope trying to get a better view of the hurricane.
I've always been crazy but its kept me from going insane.

Oof, my sorry ass has managed to catch a cold for the second time in three weeks. At the height of summer. Also, we're not big on air conditioning here, so it's definitely not that :p
