Hey Loki, that has to suck badly. FB by itself is bad enough, and post slike that simply hurt/

If you are not super into FB, consider getting rid of it and keeping only Messenger. You can talk to your friend via Messenger while ignoring all the timeline stuff of FB.

Thanks guys. I'm all good now for another year. :D

I don't use messenger as its permissions are more than I am willing to agree to (I've downloaded it twice or so out of necessity before immediately deleting it again once I got the info I needed) so I send them via my browser which makes it hard to ignore the posts as they now pop as as individual chat screens at the bottom of the screen.

Ah, I did wonder about the message I got saying you'd started using messenger! XD
Naturally, I ignored its request to say hi because it's not like I couldn't use it to message you before. Bloody Facebook...

Almost everytime I have used it it is because I've left the house and forgotten to take the address I needed. And it turns into a major endeavour because I never remember my password and then I have to change it and that means changing my junk email accounts password because I can never remember that either and so on and so forth.

Whoever invented this weather should be sliced, diced and burned. I'm so done with summer and it hasn't even started properly.

Agree totally! Anti-summer people unite! We demand a cool, somewhat windy world

I was bemoaning the idiocy of these "fidget spinner" things everyone is playing with...like the curmudgeonly bastard that I am...until someone gave me a free one...and of course now I can't stop playing with it.

Ok, at some point in an Ambien induced haze, I made tamarind chutney. WTF. I ONLY KNOW THAT I DID THIS BY THE PACKAGING AND SPICES ON the COUNTER. This is a far cry from the crabcake incident, of which I have been told were the "best ever" even though I have no memory of cooking/eating them.

At least I woke up in my bed.

Tamarind Chutney is delicious! Did you go for spicy or sweet? Sweet syrupy tamarind chutney with Dahi Vada is one of my favourite meals.

I DON'T KNOW! I just know my baingan bharta is gone, and I have an assortment of spices/ tamarind scattered across my kitchen. I'm guessing it was spicy.

Baingan bharta with tamarind chutney? Not something I would have thought of immediately, but it could work with some nice rotis or parathas...

So, umm do you cook a lot on ambien?

How can I explain it? I can only report on the kitchen wreckage, and a stain on my shirt. It could have been amazing.

In answer to your second question, maybe?

You should totally set up cameras in your kitchen. It would be hilarious.

I work with someone who has developmental disabilities. It's really nice that she has a small and easily accessible thing that calms her down.

I don't mind this in the slightest, even if kids are the ones who have it. It's fun, it's not in anyone else's face, and it's harmless.
I survived the Permian and all I got was this t-shirt.

A car drove into pedestrians, apparently.

Yeah hoping it's not another terrorist incident. For the obvious reasons, but also I dislike how many are happening just before an election. Ajay's inevitably boils down to nonsense politics and everyone using it to further their agenda.

Hope no-one is dead and hope it's a case of a drunken idiot or something similar.

Immediate reports are usually wrong or misleading but apparently it also involved a stabbing incident as well as a vehicle driving into pedestrians.
