Don't have too much sympathy, she's only packing a suitcase for a paid trip to the US. The jibber.

How dare you piss on my sympathy garnering parade! Packing for a free week away in the sunshine/fog is hard work.

Why are you still here, get on that plane and stop causing trouble.

It has been proven beyond all reasonable doubt that the most powerful force on Wu is a bunch of messed-up Malazans with Moranth munitions.

So a new school year's started. 3 AP classes + mandatory honors history/literature course.

AP Calc - easy shit
AP Psych - failed my first quiz (90 on each of the next 2...1 each class for 3 consecutive days)
US History/Literature - 80 on an exam on the 2nd day of school (for the summer reading book I read at the beginning of summer and forgot)
AP Chemistry - lolol careless mistakes (A- average in the class...maybe)

I get straight A's (usually), #5 in my graduating class.

And I don't have an A in 3 of my classes...pretty much exclusively from silly careless mistakes.

Took my first test in chem today, lost at least 6 points (out of 100) on retarded careless mistakes like thinking acetate is H2C3O2. Like a retard. And I probably made a couple other mistakes later on.

Oh, and it also happens to be raining outside.

Needed to get that off my chest. -.-

Oh, you know, the usual office headaches.

Like a scheduled server move and domain controller promotion not going off as planned, the subnet the DC was supposed to be on being changed the week of the move, a bad patch cable holding up the promotion process for most of the day because I can't get in touch with anyone at the remote location, and a bunch of other crap piled on me because everyone in this office is so puffed up in their own importance.

So basically all day, today, I've been a nervous wreck because my mentor in this job was out all week and the shitstorm decided to try and mow me over while he was gone. I'm a twitchty bundle of nerves at the moment. Thank goodness for a concert tonight - even if it is Kelly Clarkson.

History channel all day is all about 9-11. I don't want to watch, but feel compelled, just like every year. :D
Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

I can report that despite her whinging about packing Mezla made her flight to San Fran this morning only to get stuck in Frankfurt, she has to fly back to the UK before she can finally fly to the US tomorrow.

I'm calling it Karma.

I would like to claim that this was messing with my groove, but it's quite the opposite.

Because we insist that everything is simple. Simple is too easy, evidently.

The problem with people who have no vices is that generally you can be pretty sure they're going to have some pretty annoying virtues.

Took a two day sub job for next week. It's special ed, which is waaaaay outside of my comfort zone and level of competency. Also, after taking it, found out it's actually for two different school. Each day I have to go do special ed at the elementary school, which is even further from my comfort and competency zone. Need the money too bad to turn it down. I'm dreading this so much it's ruined my entire weekend. Oh well.

And the Buckeyes lost a huge game they should have won. Season ruined.
