Apparently the tool who jacked up the hiv meds price is at it again.

How can this be justified?

It's the ultimate act of humility. Capitalists aim to destroy all poor and middle class people entirely, forcing the rich to become their own butlers. This will teach them a very special lesson about what it's like to be working class.

We have an annoying problem with knocking noises in the house, annoying mostly because we don't know where they're coming from and we cannot hear them anyway - but the neighbour living right beneath us apparently can, all night long, and it sounds like it's coming from us. Just now, after being alerted to it again by said neighbour, when it's otherwise absolutely silent, I could hear it for a while too. All I can guess is that it's something with the heating system (it's an old building, creaking and squeeking at every step) or some noise caused by the wind in the attic, which is right above us and crazy noisy when it's windy outside. Still, we should be able to hear any noise caused right above us or even by our heating or something. The groove messing part is that we really do not want any conflicts with the neighbour, and our claims how there's nothing we can hear are making him seem understandably silly. Also, now that I suspect the heating, I am afraid to turn on said heating *sigh*

Just install some cameras and then when you rake in all the money from the next Paranormal Activity sequel (assuming you are still alive) you can buy your neighbour a car or something and he will be happy

Apparently Star Wars is not releasing till the 25 th in my city. Crap. I'll have to go offline for more than a week

I don't want to live here anymore.

Apparently its being pushed back because two huge Bollywood Hindi movies release on the 18th. As if I care. I don't even watch Hindi movies.

You can still come to the board. We hardly even want to talk to you, let alone feed you spoilers.

My feet and lower legs feel tenderized. I cannot comprehend why co-ed soccer is so much more painful than men's (I play both).

And I can't go swim the pain away until after work tomorrow. Sigh.

Also, my team lost a close game (1:0)yesterday. Both teams were missing players, (we can no goalie, and our backup also happened to be our most competent striker) which really hurt our attacking potential, and they scored while I was subbed off on D. B/c the guy I usually sub with was playing up, and so I was subbing with a newb. Still, the poor marking wasn't his fault entirely, since the mid didn't come back to cover. Basically, i'm just frustrated that my friend who's running the team can't get enough committed people, and now I'm worried this team may not happen next season.

But, mostly, this is about tender lower extremities. And having to walk up stairs, since my office building has one of the slowest elevators in Toronto.

We had something similar. The neighbour even came up to try and identify the noise but could not hear it either. Other than the heating system - our main suspect as well... we though it could be birds which nest in the chimney. Hope you'll find an easy fix - if not, hope your neighbour realises that you really are not causing any deliberate noise.

Damnit, looks like one of of my hard drives failed. Trying some recovery software but its not really working. My cool dashcam encounters of stupid drivers and all of music I've collected was in there and a bunch of other shit. First time I've had drive fail on me. Weird cause its relatively new.

Booked flights overseas flying out the date of the first anniversary of my grandmothers death. Person who pointed this out to me? Granddad.

Yay me.

Had to factory reset my laptop last night as it'd gotten infected with virals and bloatware (cheers, Google Chrome). Bad thing? The reset took EIGHT FUCKING HOURS. I slept on the damn couch so I could keep an eye on it. It was gone 6am by the time it was done.

I had to do one about 4 months back, when a few crucial Windows components suddently got "corrupted".
Then it entered an endless "updating" loop.

In the end, I used a Win 7 disk from my desktop with the lappy's own serial for a clean install. Then I had to manually download missing device drivers from the Toshiba Web site onto my desktop and transfer them over via USB (one of the missing drivers was the wi-fi modem).
Now I'm not sure if I still have the factory reset option or maybe I wiped it, since my new install doesn't come with a recovery partition.

You can make a back-up via USB or DVD discs. I just did one for a borked version of Win 7 before an upgrade to Win 10, which went smoothly, while still TAKING 6 HOURS TO DO ENTIRELY.

I drastically underestimated the amount of time the process would take.
I survived the Permian and all I got was this t-shirt.

Severe allergy attack in the night. Sneezing and coughing turned into breathing difficulties and I stayed up, sitting straight and wheezing, as lying down caused a suffocating sensation. No idea how I am supposed to go out today
