Really long day, and to top it off my seasonal allergies kick in. The bus chooses to stand precisely under a pollinating tree. So now blurry eyes, aching nose, and a burning throat.

Great point. I think I'm gonna adopt that outlook.
Why would you adopt Outlook? Microsoft adoptions are the worst.

I just looked up who Jim is. He is, to severely understate the facts, quite good. I am not him. I am also quite not good.

It's an accepted scientific fact that the best boat is whatever kind of boat your friend owns. Therefore I put forth the idea that the best life choice would be to convince a friend to buy this run down tugboat. You'll still end up doing all the scut work to fix it up but they'll be spending all the money and they'll owe you favors for your free labor.

'When I use a word,' Humpty Dumpty said, in rather a scornful tone, 'it means just what I choose it to mean — neither more nor less.'
'The question is,' said Alice, 'whether you can make words mean so many different things.'
'The question is,' said Humpty Dumpty, 'which is to be master — that's all.'

I've moved the more in-depth gun culture discussion to its own thread in the discussion board.

I uh wasn't thinking...and I opened a box of sodas that was sitting on top of my refrigerator, lying on its side, and all the sodas rolled out and fell on me as I tried to not let them free fall to the ground. The good news is only one can ultimately broke; the bad news is I might be terminally, incurably stupid.
They came with white hands and left with red hands.
