Mix up dates just once, and you had better have a bomb shelter handy.

Found out someone tried to steal my truck for the second time this morning. They tried to break my door handle apart to get into the door frame and they are such shitty thieves they couldn't even get the door open. Just cause a ton of really expensive damage to the door. The first time someone got in and ripped the steering column apart but was too inept to hotwire the damned thing. Apparently my nice neighborhood is a bit too close to Ghettotown, USA.

Probably. It's not like people from nice neighborhoods break laws.

It might be an assumption but people who dish out $350k+ on their houses to live there probably wouldn't need to steal my sub $5k 8 year old truck.

Indeed. Such people rarely steal because they need to. Perhaps even more true for their bored, entitled children.
They came with white hands and left with red hands.

Maybe somebody thinks your sub $5k 8 year old truck is a little too gettotown for their neighborhood of $350k+ houses.

Haha, US dollars aside, I find it adorable that $350k is considered a nice neighbourhood wherever Arthur lives. In Auckland, at the moment, that is less than most tiny apartments, and wouldn't even buy you a house in 'ghettotown' here, lol!

It depends on where you are. St Louis is famously sprawling. The $ goes a lot further in the Midwest as a whole than it does on the coasts of the US or in a more concentrated city like Chicago.

If you've seen Gone Girl, the Brooklyn townhouse they lived in before the events was worth probably two or three million. The house they moved to in the Midwest was worth maybe 300k.

A house is worth however much love you share within it!

I paid more for my appartment :/ My poor poor bank account. For whatever evil reason, my bank keeps an overview of the loan on the main page of my net-bank.

So even though this isn't near as bad as what Ando went through last month what's messing with my groove is the temps here are now in the steady 90's during the days. Fall please hurry the fuck up!!

Googled 90 degrees Fahrenheit - that's only 32 degrees!

Would just like to say that during the heat wave the minimum temperature was more than 32. Yesterday was really pleasant with lots of rain, and the Max was 30, minimum was 26. Thats 86 and 78 in F

So this weeks been a roller coaster for week. On the one side been rocking all 3 of my interviews for the same company and im confident ill get the callback

On the other hand, i find out a friend of mine is going to trial for harassement charges. Now usually harassment over the phone is a tap on the wrist, however he "MAY" have impersonated a cop on the phone. So i tell him he should get a lawyer and that if he just shows up and pleads not guilty hes getting rekt. He blows me off saying he doesnt want to spend the money.

And now tonight, i'm a student in a professional body. Needless to say as future professional we have certain standards when it comes to ethics. Part of our education process is we review each others weekly homework. Big problem, im reviewing an acquaintances homework and turn outs theres some shocking similarities between her answer and the solution provided. So great now i need to choose between fucking someone in the ass and being a party to cheating.

Oh and grandpas been in the hospital cause his body is failing him. But i kinda made my peace with his impending death ages ago so i don't really feal much for him. (so im a callous asshole as well)

COULD THIS WEEK BE ANY BETTER? wait i shouldnt tempt fate, it loves irony

disclaimer:havent had much sleep studying for exams, ill do the professional thing but i wont enjoy it. But ill get some sleep first

Social media re the American ruling on gay marriage. So many responses to people expressing their happiness along the lines of "Some of us don't need the moral validation of posting about it."

When did it become cool to be this cynical and see the worst in everything? Why not leave people alone to be happy and express their happiness?

This pretty much. It's quite annoying to watch. And also the whole 'Everyone who celebrates now is a hypocrite who's patting themselves on the back despite all the issues still in place!!11'. Well, yes. It certainly is wrong to think that now the goal is reached, the issue dealt with and everyone can go off doing whatever. Still, allow people a bit of cheering.

That aside, it was such a great week, weather-wise. Lots of rain, not too hot. Now that so-called good weather's back and I have not slept more than one hour at once last night. The joys of hayfever.
