GMG just now: Summer. Heat and light. Ugh. For someone who's photophobic, the season is a nightmare.
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaand work are moving me into a fishbowl. TRB - if you remember the bit right over the main foyer at where I work? Yeah that bit right there. Wonderful. Call me Scott now.

BK, please start taking videos of these life events. We want to live the horror with you.... (and laugh at your suffering).

OH-MY-GOD! Wtf is up with 2015? Yes this is another bug entry. The brown winged termites are smarming for their hump season. I just looked out my window and thought maybe I was having an acid flashback... There's thousands of them crawling UP my window. Look like reverse raindrops and now they are starting to get in house and crawling and flying on everything. This is the single worst night I have ever seen them do this.
We get large infestations up here occasionally. I lived through an Aphid one (you could not walk down the street without swallowing or snorting up a horde of the blasted things), and a Ladybug one (You have not been freaked out until the cutesy little ladybugs are assembled in massive numbers, then they become something out of nightmares).
But I'll always remember my mother saying that in the 1970's before I was born, she was driving through the town I grew up in and noted to my dad "Oh, look they painted the side of that building brown"...and my dad peered at it and said "It's moving."...the entire side of a condo building was carpeted with brown moths to a degree and denisty that it looked like it had been freshly painted. My mother fears moths to this day.
BK, I hope you torch the bastards down.

Sometimes - actually, every week - I wish my mom would stop cooking. It's not like she's bad at it, but I'm not sure it's worth it considering how the kitchen tends to look after the one day every week she does it - or for days thereafter, more often than not. I left everything as is for a week to see what happens, but I'm at the point where I have a serious gagging impulse upon entering the kitchen. Ugh. I know she's busy, so, please, just leave it be. I may not be the tidiest person, but at least my piles of clothes aren't a health hazard.
Oh, and while I'm wishing for the stars here, a washing machine would be great. It's not like we don't have one, but it's not actually here and it's also not connected to anything, so that basically amounts to not having one. If I could convince her that finding someone to drag it up here once would eliminate those piles of laundry of mine she hates so much... Oh, wishful thinking. I miss the days when I could do laundry whenever I needed it.
Tl;dr: The usual.

Dentist office. I can hear a drill from waiting room. Ugh I cracked a molar 2 days ago. It didn't hurt but each day since has increased in pain. I haven't been to a dentist in about 12 yrs so I'm terrified of everything I know he is going to say is wrong.

I'm on day 3 of a nasty cycle. Sleep 4-6 hours, wake up and eat something like a half can of soup, sleep for 1-2 hours, wake up and spend 30 minutes hugging the toilet while attempting to upchuck bodily organs, spend an hour or two vaguely paying attention to life, then back to sleep for 4-6 hours.
Nothing hurts except my stomach and a vague sinus issue. And sleepy all the time. Doctor time tomorrow I think.

Red ants have invaded my room and my bed. I was not aware of this until I actually lay down, when they attacked my back and shoulders. So now I have an entire back full of swellings, redness, itchiness and burning to go along with my heat rash and heat induced dizziness. And I have lost my allergy meds

Reading these last few pages have given me a newfound appreciation of living this far north. The worst we get is the occasional non-malaria mosquito.
