A Ghostbusters reboot with an all-female cast. In case you were wondering what it was that you felt was still missing in your life.
Yesterday, upon the stair, I saw a man who wasn't there. He wasn't there again today. Oh, how I wish he'd go away.

Don't get me wrong, I have no problem with more female leads in films and feminism in general. My main issue is: why take a perfectly good film, one of the all-time classics, and then say that you are going to reboot the franchise but in such a way that it will definitely not be an attempt to copy the original, as nobody would surely want that, but still call it Ghostbusters and cast a jolly chubby woman, a black woman, a pretty woman and a nerdy woman with neat ghost-busting tools? The world definitely needs this, Holywood continues to prove itself a creative powerhouse of novel ideas.

There's more female leads in films and then there's taking a franchise and gender-swapping the characters. It's just... daft.

My biggest issue is that they are skipping over the idea that MAYBE they could plan a new movie in the same world 20-years on with a female cast. A reboot is fucking idiotic...but a NEW film in-continuity showing the world and ghosts like 20+ years later with a new squad of ghostbusters...THAT would be interesting...but it doesn't sound like that's what they are doing. I'm all for the female cast...but I don't want a reboot of the same story.

Hurt my back about 25 minutes before work on mondayand I had the keys t the safe and the store so had to arrange cover and was worried about that. I couldnt even move monday and it took me 10 agonising minutes to make it to the toilet where I sneezed and nearly blacked out/threw up from the pain. Ended up staying on the bathroom floor for liek 5 minutes to make sure my head was clear and I could make it back to bed. Luckily no long term damage I think just had a hot water bottle on it for 2 days and dosing myself up.
Foam rolling and soft tissue work has been neglected in recent weeks and I think thats just caught up with me.

You could even go as far as to call it a 'genderbend' of Ghostbusters. Which is just douchey.

If the attending is yelling, then the problem is the attending, not you. Professional people do not yell and scream and take it out on subordinates when they are stressed. Just take it as a lesson on how NOT to treat your residents when you are an attending, extract the relevant medical learning points out of the experience, if there are any, and keep your eye on the prize...

I actually prefer the new idea for the Ghostbusters. GB3 was always a pipe dream: Bill Murray does NOT want to do it, ever, period, and the loss of Ramis cemented it. Probably also why -- though it's not a bad idea -- a same continuity next gen storyline can't come together.
I trust Paul Feig to get human interaction right, and organic humor right, so it's just a matter if he can get the horror elements right (he's said he's going for genuine scares on top of the jokes).

Yo. Go see a doctor. Back issues are almost always recurrent and even when you're feeling better, they're usually not fixed.
I had issues with my sacroilac joint for 10 months instead of 4 because I kept avoiding the doctor and pushing myself when I first felt better. Since then, I've taken great care not to fuck around with this nerve/spine stuff. Did the rehab exercises, strengthened everything around it and then really avoided any twisting while carrying heavy loads (which is hard to do when my hobby is physically grappling people).
I've seen my father leave off his PT exercises and reinjure his back several times over the last decade because of what you're doing.
I survived the Permian and all I got was this t-shirt.

Questioning 'vapers' on the safety of their habit. Their only response is to quote "No one's died from it so it's safe" followed rapidly by "ur a stoopad" followed by high fives all around in their camp (despite not having proven anything beyond their own inability to engage in coherent debate).

Don't think I can actually get back home from work anymore at the moment. Hope it will improve, but the forecast doesn't look good. Trams are down, buses have only limited routes. People are abandoning their cars all over the place.

I always found it adorable how england is completely unprepared for winter, it's unbelievable. I mean... having your water pipelines OUTSIDE the building walls? Buses and trains that stop at -5 degrees? Come on.
