Me and Brood are nearest, but I'm rather busy tomorrow so I'll have to leave it up to him...
If an opinion contrary to your own makes you angry, that is a sign that you are subconsciously aware of having no good reason for thinking as you do. If some one maintains that two and two are five, or that Iceland is on the equator, you feel pity rather than anger, unless you know so little of arithmetic or geography that his opinion shakes your own contrary conviction. … So whenever you find yourself getting angry about a difference of opinion, be on your guard; you will probably find, on examination, that your belief is going beyond what the evidence warrants. Bertrand Russell

 We haven't heard from TT yet - don't know if this is a good or bad thing

I want to go home... all our printers died AGAIN this morning. And people aren't sending me invoices when I need them for my corporate card statements. And one of my coworkers is being really disorganised and it is falling on me to clean up after them. And I am losing a day of work this week as we have a workshop for all professional staff, which I have to organise all the logistics for, so I am very busy this week.

Yes I realise how productive posting on Malaz is while at work :p but I don't care, I need a break

Hum...
To start.

Yesterday I finally managed to stabilize my internet connection after a week of irritating random deconnects.
I'm happy.
I go to work, come back and my friend asks me "Hey do you want to play on GW?"
To which I say "Of course!" Thinking, good thing I fixed my connection.
We play for about 30 minutes and suddenly POOF! Network is GONE.
Not simple disconnect the network has ceased to be, the router or modem has been disabled.
Fuck, the router is in the landlords unit upstairs, I can't get to it, and since they're weird, going to bed at 9pm, and it is 11pm, I'm not gonna call.
Get up this morning they still haven't fixed it, call, they're not there, leave message.
Get back from gym, network is back, but no longer stable.... There goes a week of work.
Friend comes over, we hang out, start watching Afro-Samurai Resurrection.
Phone call, I'm scheduled to be working tonight.
What, no I'm not.
Apparently my manager rescheduled me and didn't think to tell me.
Fun. Cut movie short. Scrap plans for nice supper, a proper supper, something I haven't had in over a week and won't have for another.
Also, was gonna meet up with friends at 8pm for a Lan session, well I close at 9pm, and it takes me 40 minutes to get there, so that plan goes to shit to.
Even more insulting, I check the schedule at work and sure enough there I am, never got wind of that, and the insulting part is when I call the manager and say:
"So you scheduled me tonight, I never got the correction via e-mail?"
Manager says: "I scheduled you tonight? Hum, I don't remember doing that. Oh well."

FUCK YOU! YOU TAKE AWAY ONE OF MY ONLY TWO DAYS OFF THIS WEEK AFTER THREE WEEKS AT ONE DAY OFF ONLY, I'M WORKING THIS WEEKEND, AND YOU FORGET ABOUT IT!
FUCK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!

Further fucked up other plans for the whole damn week.

Just realized I'm too poor to order the next SE book, with no change in that status coming anytime soon.

At the same time, nicotine withdrawal is making me emotional.

Add them together, and I feel like I'm going to cry. I need to go to bed.

put the money aside that you would have spent on cigarettes, so as a reward for not smoking you get the book?

Great in theory, iin reality though one of the big reasons I'm quitting is I don't have enough money to pay bills. THe cash freed up by quitting is not extra, it is vitally need for other things.

Would you like to be my maid? I expect the place to be dusted every day, you can do my washing, ironing and cooking and wake me with a cup of tea every morning. I will pay you in Quality Street.

Woo, no porn in my computer teaching session!

One toffee penny a day and a green triangle bonus on a Friday (if you've been good).

The dolphin porn plan was disrupted by me being asleep, sorry.

Yes, you may. Although you should take into account the fact that I was a student until the age of 26 so the amount of sale worthy stuff I own is rather pitiful.

It has been proven beyond all reasonable doubt that the most powerful force on Wu is a bunch of messed-up Malazans with Moranth munitions.

My internet is crawling, and I have to stay home tonight instead of going out because I have to drive my sister to some stupid youth science thing at like 8 in the morning.

Hope it's not the Star Wars exhibit at Scienceworks....that place is worst than an ants nest. It was so bad that I cancelled my trip to go there and had fish and chips instead. :harhar:

I'm downloading something and the ETA of completion is several days. Freeking computers.
