This is why I love my iPhone 4S with unlimited data! I use it more then the comp these days.
You're lucky to catch KL on a day when she has credit, you really think she can afford a plan with unlimited data (or any data, for that matter? NZ mobile plan pricing is atrocious...)?!

Heard the doorbell at 4am, and it turns out to be the police. They inform me my sister-in-law's car has been found in Corona and they are seeking any information, where she is, if it was possibly stolen, etc. I let them know she no longer lives here but it sounds like her car by the description; I gave them her cell #, and then I immediately called my sister in a panic. No response. I had just watched End of Watch last night so I was particularly primed for paranoia already. It was after 4am, though, so I tried to be rational, but all kinds of terrible possibilities ran through my mind. I finally conked out about 6am. At 9am I wake up to a call from my sister, thank goodness, and I let her know all that's happened, to her total surprise and dismay. They were both out of town for a friend's celebration, and had taken another vehicle. But my sis-in-law had just had the car refurbished top to bottom within the last month, so it's one of those things where the worst news seems inevitable, and they're on their way pretty much immediately.
About 30 minutes later I get a text that the car is fine, untouched, exactly where they left it in Chino near my sister-in-law's workplace. Apparently the police were just doing a random check and the local force up here in the desert, whose napes do typically run in shades ranging from vermillion to burgundy, simply cannot tell the words "Corona" and "Chino" apart. They both start with "C" and have swarthy origins, I guess. Anyway, everyone is fine, the car itself is fine, absolutely nothing happened besides the car existing in real space, and my worry gland can stop pumping poison throughout my body.

My mom, her pet monkey and me all got new mobile phone contracts.. The people there were Like 'Sure you can keep your old numbers, we'll just need about a week to sort it out.' Which is fine, really. Now, it did take them more than week, which is fine also, as far as I'm concerned. Which is NOT fine is that they mixed up the numbers, so now I got pet monkey's number. This kinda defeats the purpose of keeping the old numbers, doesn't it? *sigh*
