My grandma died today. She had Alzheimers and hadn't known who anyone was for 10 years and had a stroke 4 years ago, so not unexpected, but still a sad event in my family

Going to the funeral on Tuesday... wil be the first family funeral I have been able to be at.

Just got made redundant from my job ^_^

Got 4 weeks notice and my boss is really lovely, he really did not want to do it, and he is giving me some free leave and any time off I need for interviews etc. I hope I can find a job in the next four weeks though, do not want unemployment.

While I'm happy that my traditional cure for a miserable epidode in my life has worked as intended, I can't help but feeling sorry for myself with the resulting hangover. Especially considering I have cous cous salad for lunch when what my stomach really wants is fat and carbs.

Just found out that I completely mixed up the date of a Steven Erikson appearance in my state. For whatever reason I thought he was going to be here next November (don't ask how I screwed that up). Then I come to realize that it was this year and the time has already come and gone.
