I have my very first presentation at a conference in Stockholm on Friday, and I don't have a clue on what I'm supposed to say. Well, that's not true. The s e'er session is on religion and architecture and I'll be talking about something from mymaster's dissertation. I'm already thinking of strategies on handle making a complete ass of myself.

Have filming from 6am till 5pm tomorrow. Which leaves me about 4 or 5 hours to make preparations for my mock court session which is part of my Law unit this semester and requires a fuck-ton of organisation. None of which I've been able to really complete, due to having 3 other assignments in the past few weeks.

Traffic. For some reason or another my normal 25-30 minute comute home has taken over an hour every day for the last three weeks. I am getting thouroughly fed up.
I may have to see if my boss will let me work four nines and a four to see if I can get around it (at least the four hour day would have no traffic on my way home).

I read io9.com regularly for my movie and TV news...
...they are linked with a number of other sites (Jezabel, Gawker, Lifehacker, Deadspin, Kotaku and one other that I forget), and so I sometimes check other links on those....and both Gawker and Jezabel have turned out to be the worst cesspools of tabloid rankness I've ever come across. They are literally worse than the grocery store counter magazines they ape. The comments on those sites are sometimes worse than 4Chan.
It messes with my groove that I ever checked them out to begin with.
Some days....some days I just wish I never visited internet sites with editorial content. It just makes me either angry, or sad.
