It's rough. I had a kidney stone when I was in my mid-late 20's and it was the most excruciating thing ever...It forced me to drink the oodles and oodles of water I do per day and cut out the majority of soda pop and like drinks...

That said, years later and I still drink at least 2 liters of water a day, and yeah it makes you pee all the time, but keeps you cleaned out.

Crap, no-one mentioned that! Just been told that gout is a result of uric acid and the website they sent me to didn't mention kidney stones. It's just the acid is started in the kidneys, I think...

What happened?

Been too busy for the forum as well, and the weird thing is I feel really bad about it...who´d thunk it? It really bugs me that I totally missed all mentions of this year´s BBQ, as I really wanted to go... Next time, I swear!

Also, got sick while on vacation. So instead of a romantic week with my bf in the South of France, I got a four days of fever, stuffed nose, aching and shaking... went to fancy pants, EXPENSIVE restaurant, had a five-course meal, and I didn´t taste anything except the cheese, which I didn´t like...

Also also, still haven´t played Mass Effect 3

Also also also, I hated my job so much I´ve decided to just prolong my vacation and not return. I´ll rather be poor than depressed and miserable! ... and yes, I´m aware of the irony
