Well, I have to close the only bank account I have in the US because they are going to start charging me a $15 fee as of May, because I have below a certain amount of money in my accounts.
Admittedly, it was a convenience for me, but as far as customers go I wasn't making them any money so forcing someone like me out makes business sense I suppose. It's just not realistic for me to keep a lot of money in a US account, so that's not an option. The hardest part will be changing how I pay my US credit cards when I buy from Amazon US or whatever.

Switch to HSBC. They have branches all over the world and usually don't charge that fee.

My head cold is several times worse now after spending the hour before dawn outside in the cold. I find it hard to complain on ANZAC Day though so I'll bitch about it tomorrow sometime instead.
