Went on facebook yesterday and found out my ex and his girlfriend are pregnant. They have been dating 6 months. We are still friends but I'm having trouble pretending to be happy. We broke up a year ago but before that we were trying to get pregnant. Well it turns out that I don't ovulate without help and might not even be able to get pregnant. I'm happy for him but I think that should be me. Also he was just over at my house on Sunday bringing his dog to see my dog and he didn't tell me, I had to find out on facebook. Sorry if this is a bit too personal but I really have no other place to vent.

Mum just call to say our family dog just passed away. We all knew it was going to happen at some point as he was 14 years old but I only saw him two days ago and he was happy and energetic. Not the way I wanted to be woken up this morning.

Yeah, that's pretty sucky - he could have manned up and told you, since you're supposed to be friends. Then again, I suppose knowing that it would hurt you to hear about it would make it hard. Still, it would have been better to hear it from him than over faceboob.

Got called down to A+E yesterday as a kid came in... while we were treating him, another 3 year old came in having been hit by a car. He didn't make it... bad head injuries, wasn't really much anyone could do.
Had to give my little girl an extra squeeze when I got home.

Messing with my groove is the fact that I've spent the last 3 days writing a Use of Biological Agents and Genetically Modified Micro-Organism Risk Assessment form for my new additional job role as company Biosafety Officer. This makes me responsible for all of the infectious and genetically modified material used in the business and means I have to generally be a stick in the mud jobsworth. I'm worried that everybody might die!!!
