Given the respsonses to the Blood Follows cover art, you will all probalby hate the Healthy dead cover art. But here's a sneak peak at the Health Dead cover art, which has just been turned in.

I didn't mind the BF cover and I like this one even more. Suits the book more than the BF one.

Just me or is that pic really slow loading?

I like the Blood Follows and the Healthy Dead cover art ... at least it beats the hell out of the US/TOR Malazan covers for GoTM and MoI :)

Why, I'm SO in love with the american DG cover with Sha'ik and the grail-knight behind her... Even though IIRC the american publishers rejected it, ours in Bulgaria decidet to put it on the book. And what's strange is that all the others are with the Bantham covers @_@ I mean, what's the point to skip ONLY the BEST looking one of them and change it for an utter crap like this?

Of coures many things in the bulgarian editions are more frustrating (the translation for example) but still...

Final Healthy Deady Cover design is in. I think it goes nicely with the Blood follows design. Should be available sometime in December.

Interesting how the one cup of wine covers/becomes the pubic hair of the center figure. I haven't read this but that certainly can't be an accident.

David pays too much attention;) lol
But quite the observation, anyone care to explain? Or is this cover like the Blood Follows one, which had nothing to do with the story? Although this one loosk so much better imo.

seems Nightshade is going for sex appeal on its covers...at least this one is subtle, as opposed to BF, which looked like True Crime meets the X-Files by a Frazetta wannabe :) and Jenisand, it had everything to do with the story actually..in fact SE thot it gave away too much :)

I like both, personally. But tell me, will this have illustrations inside like Blood Follows did?

Whatever man, I seriously thought they ruined it... especially the one of Emancipor Resse hanging onto a lampost with the notice by Bauchelain and Korbal Broach. It sucked! :)

Umm.. the cover artist is Mike Dringenberg who is famous for his work on Neil Gaiman's Sandman (DC Comics) and his work is NOTHING like Frazetta. ;D

I loved the artwork in both the novellas.
