huh? Korvalain is not a demon race. Korvalain is a warren, or rather, part of a warren's name, in the same manner that Liosan is for Kurald Liosan

That's not what the wiki said... I got confused by all the warrens and checked. It doesn't have an entry for korvalain, but redirected me to:

So maybe I'm just getting really confused. As far as I understand, Gamelon is a warren filled with demons. Including the Korvalah. Maybe I've just been having an extended stupid moment, but which warren is korvalain?

I can't remember exactly, but I would hazard a guess that Korvalain is the name of a Korvalah's warren. Note that Aral Gamelon is their HOME WARREN - that's like saying that all people in the Malazan world use some warren aspected to the planet. Just because they come from Aral Gamelon doesn't make it the warren that they use.

Cool. Don't remember anything about Korvalain & I could find any references to it. So I guess the pics are fine the way they are, as the both have some sort of demon in them. Still liked my picture of the nascent though

All good and different. Although I'm not sold on the snowman Omtose (and to a lesser extent, the Meanas ninja guy) since these two are out of tune with the mostly abstract/ photography-like nature of the other alts.

I have to agree with Tapper, I don't mind Meanas too much, although Id rather some kind of shadowy illusion thing, but the Omtose snowman is a little wtf lols.

Well, Omtose doesn't look that bad without Bubba's "improvements" :w00t:

Although, even now that it's back to normal, I still see the eyes and smile in my mind. Damn you!

How is this for an alternative Meanas?

I'm just worried that will all those "Shadow" and "Dark" warrens the avatars will get confusing.

I like it. Mind you, I have no real clue how it will look as an avatar, and how difficult it will be to spot the difference with the other grey/black avatars, but it is definately more in tune.

The only one its really much like is the Gamelon one, but theyre both different enough to not get them mixed up, methinks.
