a-frigging-mazing night at work.
not our best results, but just one of those night where me and every supervisor I work with get a chance to do what we do best, in diff areas of our job. To come up with a pretty badass result. And the great feeling of fulfillment knowing that you worked for that result, you were good at it, at it totally paid off.

Can't believe i'm saying this, but I love my job. makes me think I should've gone into management.

Giving blood today. And not drinking later, although it would be the easiest way to get hammered you could ever think of!

I don't normally post in the emo threads but i'm feeling, well, very emo at the moment.

My wife is 10 weeks pregnant and we went for the first scan yesterday. She has been sick as a dog for months now and the nice ladies at the hospital told us why.

TWINS ! ( Not identical but genetically speaking it's all my fault.)

I am simultaneously over the moon about it whilst also crapping myself at the prospect. We had only planned to have one more child and this has really thrown a spanner in the works in terms of house size, car size, work commitments.......ARGHHHHH!

It's all very confusing in the sense that I love being a father and I'm quite chuffed about being a seriously potent muthafucka with Real Man Balls TM . However the realisation that my life is now fucked and i'm gonna have to get the snip is weighing heavy on my mind. The idea of anybody messing with my bagpipes is quite frankly terrifying to me but the little lady has basically told me that as I can virtually impregnate her with a look, I have to be gelded. :) We will see....

I don't care what sex they are as long as they are healthy, although a mate of mine does have twin boys and the little bastards have nearly killed him !

Interesting times ahead for sure. :D
Now all the friends that you knew in school they used to be so cool, now they just bore you.
Just look at em' now, already pullin' the plow. So quick to take to grain, like some old mule.

Sounds like your lad's are the Bridgeburners of the sexual world.

First ones in, last ones out.

Congratulations on your virility and mayhem that's about to ensue because of it.

Congrats on the twins, even if it does kill you :)

I've had a really good few days. I've got 2(!!!) new jobs, and managed to do a lot of stuff I've been putting off for ages, throwing out a load of old crap and sorting out things that needed to be sorted. And it's not even half way through the week yet!

2 beers, 2 bags of chips (crisps, for you limey bastards), several thousand mg of stimulants, and 1 hour of sleep and I'm all caught up on my work!

Congrats on the twins, I'm an identical twin myself, and my parent's swore off children after having us. Get ready to dual-wield everything! Two babies = two bottles, = 2 diapers (beware synchronized pooping), = 2 car seats, eventually turns into 2 boxes of cereal (so you don't have them fighting over who gets to read the box), 2 birthday presents, etc. etc.

Is that from you or the kiddies?
HiddenOne. You son of a bitch. You slimy, skulking, low-posting scumbag. You knew it would come to this. Roundabout, maybe. Tortuous, certainly. But here we are, you and me again. I started the train on you so many many hours ago, and now I'm going to finish it. Die HO. Die. This is for last time, and this is for this game too. This is for all the people who died to your backstabbing, treacherous, "I sure don't know what's going on around here" filthy lying, deceitful ways. You son of a bitch. Whatever happens, this is justice. For me, this is justice. Vote HiddenOne Finally, I am at peace.

Congrats on the twins. My siblings are twins. Hated the fuck out of them when they were younger, but now they are alright. And it only took 17 years for me to like them!

Good things: Bulletstorm! Celebrated my friend's 25th birthday on Saturday and it was awesome. Made kick-ass dinner, then later went out dancing, which I haven't done in year. Felt good. Must repeat.

Also, no cavities! :)

Bright side: At least they no longer do this by clapping two bricks together.

Congrats on the news though! Twins run in my family too so I wholly expect to have the same thing when the gf and I have kids.

Ah. Yep. Witch Hunter Robin is one of those anime's without any of the frills or crazy useless nudity and crap...and what you actually have is a genuinely badass show that is always interesting to watch. ....and I'm pretty sure I know that which you refer to, and yep that was totally awesome and unexpected when I first watched i too.

24, scotch, chicken. I love having an evening with nothing to do. :)

@MS - Maybe I ought to buy you a celebratory pint before they arrive as you will never have free time again afterwards! (Name a good pub in Ponty & I'll be there! :D) Many congrats you crazy over-productive Welshman!

Thanks Grim, for giving me an insight into the potential familial carnage that multiple siblings will bring... I will probably be expected to adjudicate over it all so I'm already looking into buying a shed. :)

Nice one Simeon, Llanover Arms or Alfred's are relatively civilised and I do need to buy you a drink to celebrate your impending doom leap into wedded bliss.

Haha, yeah, it's great. I'm very nearly done - basically watched it all in three big jumps, because short episodes are short.

And I mean:

Spoiler

I have to say, I was kind of disappointed that there was a live action adaption in the works, but that it got canceled. On the other hand, I also can imagine how horribly bad that could have come out. Kinda like the relative awesome of the Dresden Files and the TV series. But if it was done right (I mean, they could totally have expanded it to have them working for STN as an international organization, kind of like Interpol, and have them travel the world, in order to allow for more variety of locale/cast, and thereby also drawn out (and improved upon) the Monster of the Week half of the show), it would have been god-tier, imo.

Also, you're the first person to get what I'm talking about...show is seriously under-appreciated, I think... :gando:

Just switched the channel over and Reign of Fire was on - Christian Bale looking all hunky and Gerard Butler doing his usual sexy thing...nice little surprise. :gando:

You're welcome

To be fair, there's a 7 year gap between us, and one of them has ADHD. They were born around the time I started the 1st grade, and I was a bit bummed that they stole my thunder. And kept stealing it, until I grew up an became super awesome. Good luck stealing my thunder now, fuckers!

Things will be hectic as hell when the tykes arrive, just make sure you give your other kids some one-on-one time as well. It will greatly reduce the carnage of sibling rivalry :p
