went on a 22 km walk in the park across post-glacial landscape. bitchingly hard terrain, and it doesn't look like it at first.

Books! Especially buying books for a bit over 20 euros while saving almost 90 euros! Granted, books nobody but me is probably interested in, but: BOOKS!

Also, that's the secons time within a week I save more on books than I actually spend on them.. So, yeah, bargains are making me happy, too :blink:

A rare hangover-at-work day and the whole of the senior management team is absent. This means I can mong about all day and do nothing. Currently trying to eat my way out of the hangover. Also house completion is imminent so I will soon be able to live like an adult - broke and trapped in a spiral of debt. We should move in the weekend before Hetan and Mal's BBQ!

Congrats though, there's nothing like the feeling of a new house. Hope you claim the best sofa place and side of the bed. Priorities.

I'm chuffed because I spent all day with my lovely boys having a blast. My 18 month old learned the joy of scrambled egg today, and my 4 year old got to grips with exclamation marks!!

I'm not happy to be leaving the town that I've been living in for the last 3 years within the next month but I do love when you can pop out to the pub beer garden and bump into your neighbours and have an awesome evening out without having planned it. Doesn't happen that often when you live in Commuterville. Need to work on the friend stats in the next town!

Been sitting in the hospital for 12 hours now. They say only another 4-5 to go!

I've always been crazy but its kept me from going insane.

Took 18 hours, but she made it. Gretchen Rose Hooper 9 lbs 7 oz, 10 fingers 10 toes.

Had a little heart rate scare because of an infection they both got towards the end, but everything's good. So far I've got about 3 10 minute naps in the last 30 hours. Might actually get some sleep tonight.

I've always been crazy but its kept me from going insane.

Congrats SB. Nice one. I think if you do get the chance for any sleep, you should share it out with the rest of us first!!!

I just set me a 20 hour job away, and I'm sitting with the radio(80's) and the fan blasting. Shan't be moving for a while, except to get coffee/tea/food.
I've got me GoTM to plough through as well.
Mmmmmm work doesn't get much better. They're paying me for this shit!!
