I can't believe i'm the only one who spotted the 'nannycam' lenses in the right eye of each of these... don't worry tho', there's an easy way to hack in a loop clip of you masturbating at your computer sleeping....

Pssst, the cams are in the sonic screwdrivers. :)

HiddenOne. You son of a bitch. You slimy, skulking, low-posting scumbag. You knew it would come to this. Roundabout, maybe. Tortuous, certainly. But here we are, you and me again. I started the train on you so many many hours ago, and now I'm going to finish it. Die HO. Die. This is for last time, and this is for this game too. This is for all the people who died to your backstabbing, treacherous, "I sure don't know what's going on around here" filthy lying, deceitful ways. You son of a bitch. Whatever happens, this is justice. For me, this is justice. Vote HiddenOne Finally, I am at peace.

Found out (45 minutes after it started) VIA twitter that Brandon Sanderson was doing an event/signing at a library near my house....I leapt up, grabbed my copies of THE WAY OF KINGS and ELANTRIS and flew down there, waited in line for an hour and a half, and met him, got my books signed and impressed him with my hardcover first edition ELANTRIS!

Asked him when Stormlight 2 was dropping and he said TOR has it on sched for November 21st 2013.

WOOT! What a great night!

That's awesome, especially getting the Way of Kings signed.

But why ever make the poor man waste ink signing Elantris!

Haha. Just kidding. But I really couldn't feel more differently about two books. Way of Kings was one of the best books I've read. Ever. While Elantris falls far to the other side of that particular spectrum. Actually, I shouldn't even be criticizing any of his works, but I did not like it much at all. I feel ok saying that because Way of Kings just so happens to make up for any wrong doings on his part.

Still reading DoD- for some reason, I really do like this book and this makes me one very happy Miss Savage.

I am happy because Gear Acquisition Syndrome has bitten again and I've just won a bid on ebay for a rather cheap, but still groovy, guitar. It's in a bit of a state at the moment but that means I have many pleasurable hours of chiselling, routing, drilling, filling, soldering, priming, painting, polishing, tuning and general fettling to come.

That sounds like something I'd take upon myself to do, and then end up with a not-so seaworthy boat instead of a guitar.

As for what's making me happy right now: first off I managed to scrape together 38 working hours last week. Aside from the fact that it brings in money, I'm extremely tired after work and now only sleep pretty poorly, which is a massive improvement. Also, I finished The Witcher just half an hour ago, and I'm dying to start playing the second game come the morrow.
Money rules the world. I rule the money.

Going to join in on the ebay happiness. I should probably stop being this happy every time I manage acquire some of the weird out-of-print comics on my things-to-hunt-down list, but weeeeeh, I love ebay! Also, weird comics! So much for falling asleep easily tonight.. B)

After viewing another venue (which was not only subpar, but there was a wedding going on and the guy doing the tour for us was walking us in and out of their reception...yeah), we have been solidified into our love of the first venue we looked at...so we are 95% sure that is the one we are going with (her parents are checking it out this week, at which point we will be booking it)...so yeah there's a place and I'll most likely be getting married there.

I will do so with great pleasure. However, don't expect me to make any sense.

On an even more happy note my brother's baby girl was born early this morning - no Malazan name after all, but she is called Nila Simona.
but are they worth preserving?

This was actually last night

Was watching Ronin again, mid way through the film, when they're trying to track Gregors phone, I think I recognise the little town they met De Niro's contact. Then I realise I walk the same little bit of pier every time I go to watch a footy game, its the next village over from where I'm staying, I've been down the steps he comes down with the paper in his hand.

Made me happy
