Went airsofting, I have literally five bleeding welts and six others on my face and hands, but I kicked so much ass!
Hello, soldiers, look at your mage, now back to me, now back at your mage, now back to me. Sadly, he isn’t me, but if he stopped being an unascended mortal and switched to Sole Spice, he could smell like he’s me. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re in a warren with the High Mage your cadre mage could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an acorn with two gates to that realm you love. Look again, the acorn is now otataral. Anything is possible when your mage smells like Sole Spice and not a Bole brother. I’m on a quorl.

My shrink tells me that it's important that I try to maintain friendships and personal relationships. So expect me on chat more often (though, in a correlated instance, Drunkstormy is going on sabbatical. Allegedly to write a novel, but who can trust that guy?)

Edit: still lovin' me some ponies.

Couldn't find my gloves, wore goggles as the mask steamed up my glasses within a minute of wearing it, am a total badass so didn't care at all for pain, only wore plasters to stop bleeding on expensive guns. All my joints and muscles are making their presence known today, though!

So I spent yesterday at home by myself with no power, no car, no reliable internet or mobile phone reception, and no landline whilst two streets down was flooding, the streets behind our place were flooding, the cats missing, and the potential for Matador to be cut off from getting back home was looking quite likely.

Now it's 3:35am, the power just came back on, Matador is home and the cats are all safely back inside so everything has worked out well for us. :D

At this very moment, finding this forum! And in a few moments, continuing to read Reaper's Gale. And quite recently, that I managed to remember Laseen's real name without even asking my good friend Google. These past few minutes have been a surprisingly good few minutes, come to think of it.

Oh man, my new Klipsch On-Ear headphones came...and they are SO amazing! Better even than the Bose Noise-Cancelling ones that my father in-law has. Listened to a Big Finish Doctor Who Audio Drama...and wonder how the hell I EVER listened to anything on the crappy white Apple earbuds.

Audio Bliss!

also, new Tegan & Sara album comes out tomorrow...just in time for my trip to work!

Yah, thought "Closer" was kinda wack at first but it's grown on me a bit. It'll be interesting to see how much of the album is dance-pop and what they manage to do in that idiom.
They came with white hands and left with red hands.

I've been a fan since WAY back at their first album ('95-ish), and it's been quite interesting to watch their growth from disc to disc...and the freshness of the whole endeavor of changing their sound frequently helps keep them above the line in the industry...so far. This latest one is a big genre jump though, so I'm giving the new disc a listen today, and I'm hoping it's solid. :D

Me too! :D

Matador showed it to me with the disclosure 'see if you can guess why there is a fuss about this ad'.
I honestly couldn't pick what the issue was until the ad mentioned that the guy is from Minnisota - I just assumed he was Jamaican.
