I had a pretty good weekend :D

Had Loki and Matador round for a bit to hang out Friday night.
Saturday I had work, then went to the pub for a bit with Centz, Shiara, Wolfy and Sparrowhawk to meet Gwynn.
After that Shiara and I went to a friend's place for her house warming. Was a great night, made a few new friends. A bit later in the night the hostess mentions that two of the guests are also from Perth (where I grew up). Turns out one of them is the younger sister of an acquaintance of mine from high school. She knew another friend of mine from my school. And to top it off knew another friend of mine from a completely different circle. Anyway, was fun reminiscing and chatting :p
Sunday was mostly a lazy day in our air-con playing Guild Wars 2. Then we picked up Sparrowhawk and went to Shiara's parents place for a swim and dinner.

It didn't occur to me before I started typing just how many people I did stuff with over the weekend are on here :D

It has been proven beyond all reasonable doubt that the most powerful force on Wu is a bunch of messed-up Malazans with Moranth munitions.

That's back? I loved the first season, the mark on that one was such a nice guy! But I never caught the second one nor heard they were doing a third, awesome. I might catch up.
They came with white hands and left with red hands.

Got a bit of a job offer, doing some interesting research for a project that hasn't started yet.

Downside being they probably won't be paying me until they raise the funds for the project.

My mate offered me a job at the aquatic centre where he lifeguards, and it's pretty decent pay too :( I'm not guaranteed of getting it but if I do, JACKPOT!
Then today I met one of my castmates in Lygon Street for some impromptu rehearsal, he really helped me get a foothold on mg characters. His mate was working there and he shouted us free drinks, so that's good :p

I crawled out of bed this morning when it was still dark and cold and spent the probably most beautiful Winter day in London this year at Kew Gardens. I arrived shortly after they had opened, a reasonable amount of snow (for Britain) covered the whole grounds and there were not many people yet. I enjoyed the few quiet and peaceful hours before lunch time and more visitors came along... and suddenly snowmen popped up like mushrooms all over.
Here attached is the tiniest and funniest snowman and some vistas of the winter wonderland that Kew turned into.

And 70 or so miles to your west in Wiltshire, I'm hating the snow. However your pictures, which are quite lovely, have postponed my WAR ON SNOW for a short while.

I am happy because I've just bought a guitar on ebay for a song. Having just missed out on a few recently I am feeling rather pleased with myself, and lady luck of course.

You can pay for stuff on ebay with songs? Is that through paypal?
They came with white hands and left with red hands.

Don't wait for too long with your war on snow. by the time you're geared up it may already be gone!

Perhaps British TV is lying to me, but don't Brits ENJOY snow because they don't get it very often? I mean, doesn't it usually come down as rain...so when it's snow at least that's something different than the rain?

I dunno, I'm from Canada so snow is just part of life, for between 4-6 months we are coated in it to varying degrees.

But then, perhaps us Colonials are made of sterner stuff.

:( (just kidding)

The Harbaughl?? *groan*

Judging by the way the Ravens played I think we can win this one, as I think 49ers D is much better than the Pats. Gonna be ultra tense though...
