A significant portion of the Christmas shopping is done and it's not even November yet! The plan is to try to get it ALL done and possibly wrapped before Halloween, making a holiday season in which I just kick back with some hot chocolate a Christmas tree and watch the shopping madness.

Two - yes, two - NFL games in London next year! One of them features the 49ers, my favourite team, playing the Jags. The other is the Vikings, probably my second favourite team, play the Steelers. Such a dilemma which to go to as the SF game would be great, but I have already seen them and the Vikings/Steelers game is more likely to be an excellent game! What a great dilemma!

My last pay packet. I didn't even make bonus for last month which was otherwise included in people's pay for this past fortnight (too busy doing other things that don't get me a bonus for my other boss) and it was STILL about $200 higher than normal. Granted, that comes entirely out of overtime, but WHO CARES?!!

Well last night looked to be a disappointment (planned Oktoberfest turned out to be me and 3 others) but we made a good night of it, played a drinking game with Harry Potter and somehow managed to hook up with a lesbian...go figure

And today was a mate's 19th barbecue so it was good to see some old faces

Good weather for it too!

And I can finally get a good night's sleep! Copasetic.
