It's mum's birthday today and she came home with a bundle of chocolate boxes...and the ingredients for a Toblerone chocolate cheesecake! This is gonna get tasty

I was looking at being forced into a mandatory work activity course where I'd be maintaining the grounds of a cemetery for four weeks, an activity I am medically not well enough to do without considerable pain the entire time, but when I talked to the woman in charge she managed to switch me over to helping out a charity shop for the duration instead. Best of all, this pointless forced labour rubbish isn't til Monday so I can see my girlfriend tonight and tomorrow no problem.

Well into my week off work at home. Stopped waking up thinking about work by Monday morning, caught up with most of my friends now and out with some more tonight, had a hair cut, watched A LOT of tv in my pyjamas, got the car MOT'd, visited family, obliterated the laundry pile and all set to fly to Croatia on Saturday for a week on an island. Ahhhhhh, it's nice when you get time to remind yourself where things really rank on the priorities list.

Back in the UK after 3 weeks in South America. When I use toilet paper, I can now put it in the toilet and flush it away rather than having to put it in a little bin. Yay!

After stumbling about for 5 weeks, Asus decided they couldn't fix it, and are sending me a replacement computer that's SIGNIFICANTLY better than the one I sent in.

Congrats. That must have been a relief.

My parents just refinanced, and had to get their house reappraised. And they're a bit flabbergasted with how much their house is worth just for legal purposes not even on the market.

Felt like total crap most of the day, largely due to the amount of liquor consumed last night.

After work got to play some indoor footy. After 2 hours of non-stop running and a hot shower, I feel like a human being again.
