Sir Patrick Stewart is brilliant!

Best thing to come out of the Olympics.

Adventure today. Met up with my friend for lunch, mexican. Went to the greatest bookstore ever, got a book I'd been unable to find.

Went out to San Francisco for the rest of the day- walked the wharf, grabbed some beers and drank on the beach (not strictly lawfully) and watched the fog roll in.

Then dinner at the tastiest (and as far as I know, only) dive/deli/bar in the city.

The subject matter of this poem mightn't be too cheerful, but this girl reads it like something else.

2012 remix of Kate Bush ( RUNNING UP THAT HILL), ELBOW, and ANNIE LENNOX totally made my Olympic night!

League of Legends tourney here, in San Francisco this weekend, with my friend doing the live announcing for ~half of the games.

Plus, we might get to have the great North American grudge-match final.

You may or may not have come across one or more parodies / covers / manglings of Gotye's Somebody That I Used To Know, some awesome, some hilarious, some just plain bad. Wally De Backer (aka Gotye) has collected several of these and mixed them into a cover of his own song - Somebodies: A YouTube Orchestra

Anyway what's making me happy is it is now 1 year ago today I got married!! :wallbash:

And you didn't tell the wife that you hired all those people to play for your 1 year celebration, and it was just a coincidence that the Olympics were ending then too? FOR SHAME SIR.

That's pretty much exactly when I went to bed too.
Nowt against Ed, but Wish You Were Here is one of my all time favourites.
Still thought it was a good show though.

Terrified!

Date went well. Really well. She picked up on my nervousness and gave me shit right to my face on it. I went with it and make a joke on it.

We discussed stuff the most people avoid. She seemed to like my perceptions anyhow most of the time my friends love me, but acknowledge me as the madman.

She is soooo smart. I am up there...not because i was born with it, I just like to read and think too much.

Surreal. She wanted me to shut up just to grin at me and stare at me. Wild. Probably the most sexual thing she could have done ever.

Made a move. Told me personal boundaries are important and went for very small little kisses. A wash a loss...not sure.

i dont understand women @ all, but she IS going out with me again.

I really feel like I met someone equally as crazy as me!

Or maybe Im just being dumb..again..

for me --jump lets see.

I still haven't heard Running up that hill yet and Brazil is doing there ceremony now. I wanted to see that sung.

It wasn't sung (AKA she wasn't there), just a new remix playing overtop. It was near the beginning.

Put in an offer on a house. Very nervous. They counteroffered with the original price, so there are some negotiation issues.

Like for example the sellers not knowing what the word "counteroffer" means.

Have you read them out the list of repairs needed and how much that will cost you?
OK, I think I got it, but just in case, can you say the whole thing over again? I wasn't really listening.
