Then the movie sucked for focusing far more on a plot device than it did on the main character

I have had this song in my head all day and it's slightly annoying but mostly awesome.

Despite last night being the weirdest night I've had at work, workload-wise, it was probably also one of the more fun times I've had at work (and my work is surprisingly fun, in-between the actual work)! Epic awesome darts skills came into play on the new darts board at break (who can say three bullseyes? I can...) and then a short game of pool in which my infamously unreliable style came through for me and I was actually playing well/looking awesome. Good times were had. Then finished the end-of-work stuff faster than anyone else, and was pretty clean away as the first person able to leave - EXCEPT I went over to gloat with some friends in another team, who then roped me into helping with their extra chores they were on duty for. Sounds stupid right? Except being able to do it with them was actually pretty fun (my new team doesn't have to do that stuff) and we all had a good laugh before leaving together (ironically, after almost everyone else, lol). So, yeah, good night!

Got a call from a friend this morning asking me if I wanted to go and see Boy and Bear tonight, as he had a spare ticket. My response? Hells yes!

5 days off work.
Listening to incredible music really loudly cos everyone else is out of the house.
My entire family is descending on Cardiff this weekend for my brothers parade tomorrow, and I can't wait to see them! I am an excellent host (ask Rodeo!) and I love doing it, so it's going to be sweet!

Usually when this happens to me it involves either K-pop or Hitler memes.

Boy and Bear were AMAZING, so glad I went tonight, one of the best concerts I've been to.

Went to see a friend's play yesterday, "A Funny Thing Happened On The Way to the Forum." Aside from a barrel of laughs, she was dressed as a Roman hooker. With a lash and a corset. Best 28 bucks I ever spent

I have had a day of mostly aimless, completely random, and very weird conversations. It's does you good once in a while to just turn the brain off and type/say whatever.

(Though only with people who aren't going to think you're too crazy, of course...)

Mr PigDog was back home in Wales this weekend. He had a school reunion last night and disappeared off the text radar from 8.30pm to about midday when I got the following text message: "Got home a 7am. Hungover". He has a 4hour train journey home now. Hee hee.

And it's a wonderfully British day of drizzle for the Queen's Diamond Jubilee pageant. Can't wait to see everyone drenched.

Have you got the extra day for Her Madge in Oz? Best enjoy it, it's the last extra day we'll get until she carks it and you'll get nothing if you're back home.
