Spent my lunch break scrolling through the drama on the Mass Effect 3 forums. (For those who didn't notice Loki's countdown in several sections of this forum: it is a newly released space opera game that ends a trilogy and offered both excellent gameplay and an above average story in the first 2 installments).
Apparently, the unwashed masses are displeased with the possible endings to the game and vent their rage in such impotent ways that it almost becomes cute in the same way a three-legged puppy would be: they just can't help it and their handicap is there for all to see and fuss over. It turns out there are a lot of three-legged puppies in the world of computer gaming.
Were I a smarter guy, I'd pose a philosophical question like 'what is more important, the journey or the destination?'. I'm not, and thus this nerd-rage over pixels becomes, in a cruel way, a slapstick comedy which manages to cause a diabolical sense of pleasure at other people's emotions in me.
If people react this badly to a 10 minute game sequence after having an amazing ride through around a 100 hours of gameplay (which, after all, made them buy this 3rd game), what will they do when they get into a real crisis? Roll into a fetus position, whimper and cry that it isn't fair, boohoo? Gosh, grow a pair.

Everything except my desktop computer and my cat are now moved the gf's place. The majority of the junk I was tossing out is at the curb (more needs to go out once that stuff gets taken), and all that is left is for me to clean the rest of the old apt (tonight) and I will be for all intents and purposes - moved.

EDIT: Without giving anything away - There is a mission in ME3 that I am doing right now and it is totally channeling another awesome sci-fi!!!! It's bloody brilliant!!! XD
EDIT 2: My number one gaming friend is just behind me in ME3 and we just had a 30 minute conversation about how awesome it is. Only reason we had to stop was because Matador was leaving to go to the football and wanted a little attention before he went. Honestly, I saw him last night!
