One of my colleagues offered to look into the possibility of making me a bookcase like worrywort posted somewhere here on these boards the other day, but custom fitted to suit my living room and with perhaps a few different details/ height. Not only is that an awesome offer, but since he's going to be out of a job in the very near future, I also don't mind that I'll be paying him - half of it will probably be re-invested into beer immediately.

That is several kinds of awesome (aside from the part where he will be unemployed, that kinda sucks). But bookcase = awesome

I met a fellow dad at my kids' school whose first name is Khan.
You can imagine what movie scene I've been replaying in my head ever since.

OK, I think I got it, but just in case, can you say the whole thing over again? I wasn't really listening.

Discovered the "EXPLORE" mode on SSX is a gajillion times better than the "WORLD TOUR" mode which I had first played.
There was much rejoicing. Especially when the roster for EXPLORE said "0 of 153 drop medals collected"...

The opening barn scene in Boondock Saints 2 - I've watched it four times already tonight.......shameless.

I have two friends in that flick. I love the first movie, but thankfully have never seen the second.

The second movie has nothing on the first but I still really like the second movie as well. Romeo ain't no Rocco though.

There is a sort of cult-awesomeness about the first...the second feels like a cash in...and Sean Patrick Flannery doesn't even look like Sean Patrick Flannery anymore, he got chubby or something.

He looks like Sean Patrick Flannery, just a decade older version. And I like the middle age chubbiness

It's weird, if you watch him in the trailers for BS:II it simply doesn't look like him...and I know people who saw the film and spent the whole thing assuming Connor had been recast and didn't realize it was SPF until the credits.
That said, this was in 2009 right? Well he's on Y&R now and I watched a few clips...he looks much more like himself in those ones (and like you said, just older)...but in BS:II I just can't reconcile his face with that of his self 10 years before. If that's just age (and not drugs or something), then he has aged worse than most people in Hollywood.

I don't see it myself. But then I've seen all his movies including Mongolian Death Worms and he looked pretty much the same in that as he did in BS:11. I don't think he's aged badly but my friend Ducky would agree with you. Personally, I've a thing for formerly well-built guys who run somewhat towards chubbiness with age. It's probably why I still think Sean Bean is incredibly hot. (Though I suspect Gaes agree with me on that one

Was any of that equipment a high powered laser? If not it should have been, even if you can't use it for anything, you should have one. Lasers are cool.
