My gf is currently in the process of becoming an aunt (there's labour afoot), which is quite exciting. Well, not particularly for me, but she's all happy and excited and that makes me happy. Plus I've been working my magic to try and get her sister to name the baby after me. They'd better.

I'm happy because I just finished a 2,500 word history assignment. The word limit wasn't large, granted, but the subject matter was so boring it made my eyes bleed, so I'm happy I don't have to read about British colonial policy in India over the last 200 years ever again.

Well, Toby's not actually my name so that wasnt what I've been badgering for, but I feel Greg works equally well as a unisex name! :p

Ah, for a 2500 word essay instead of the 8000 words of drivel Im attempting atm. I envy your finishing of work.

I love my country. I've just been watching Question Time from last night. The panel is 3 MPs, the sub-editor of the Daily Telegraph and the UK Executive of McDonalds. Only this week could the man from McDonalds look wholly like the good guy!!!

Edit - and especially for TT, Patrick Kielty is on the panel next week

Saved By the Bell.
Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

Jam tarts and a cup of tea. I couldn't feel any more English unless I had just conquered some pesky foreigners (and later been forced to bid a hasty retreat).

Got my job interview tomorrow morning.

Quite nervous because I cant remember a bloody thing that's relevant, and I doubt I'll get the job, but whatever happens it'll be done and I can bloody relax at last! Plus there is a slim chance I could get it, which would be awesome. :D
