Also: last night there was a green tree frog on our back steps - quite a big one. It modelled for a few pics then hopped off. Now ever since then Kalam has been hopping around the house. Actual 'feet together' jumping from one side of the house to the other. Trust me to own the world's only cat that thinks it's a frog! :p

How in the flying hell are all you people off till the new year as of today? Where do you work, and how the hell can they let you have all that time off?

I have never in the history of jobs I've had, EVER, had the week off for Christmas.

The trailer looks promising, but given the huge let down that was number one, I'm not getting my hopes up.

QT - I dunno about them specifically, but many places like Universities, and government jobs close down for the christmas week.

Besides, I said the first one was doomed when it came out because it didn't have Van Damm or Norris but this one does!!! Didn't see Rourke but then you can't always get everything you want.

I work for Gulfstream Aerospace and they have a scheduled shut down between Christmas and New Year's and they arrange the paid holidays and 'floating' holidays so you get the enitre week off with pay then I got my third week of vacation this year so I am taking the week before Christmas off, plus my normal work week is M-Th so I usually have Fridays off when I'm not working OT or going to class.

How many Bank Holidays do you get over Christmas in Canada? My business doesn't have a Christmas shut down but I'm taking 7 days annual leave for 10 days off. My last day is next Monday and I'm off until 3rd Jan :p I'm already on wind down mode :p

We get Christmas Day and Boxing Day. That's it. So if Christmas falls on a weekend, we get a long weekend. It's not a holiday so much as two days off.
