New winter coat. I know I bitched about not being able to afford one in the other thread. Turns out my mom considers bringing me up too much effort to just let me freeze to death ;)

The last time you lost to city that bad was in 1955 when you lot 5 nil at home. The last people to put 6 past you were Newcastle in 1930 when they beat you 7-4.

This is my first year attempting Nanowrimo and I wrote one hell of an outline in less than two days. I have the geography, main character names and descriptions, and even the basic religion set down on paper already. Now if my actual writing can measure up to this outline dealie, this challenge is in the bag.

Thinking of moving out of my place soon into a awesome share house with a bunch of friends. Really looking forward to it.

It has been proven beyond all reasonable doubt that the most powerful force on Wu is a bunch of messed-up Malazans with Moranth munitions.

They really are, the came and played here earlier in the year to a small audience, only about 250-300 of us max and it was really something else, you'd have thought they were playing to a stadium. Really great musicians and cool guys.

I got out last night and saw some stars for the first time in ages, although it took me ages to work out when the telescope kept going out of focus, turns out I was looking through it with my weak I, never even thought. Still was a good evening.

FINALLY my move is pretty much done and I have the internet! Although it may disappear for a bit again because my bt home hub system is f*cked so the cable TV wont work, and they need to replace it, but then I'm DONE!!!!

I've built so much furniture I'm considering a career as a carpenter. Although I'm refusing to sit on one of the sofas as I know it's likely a bit unstable (made the best of a bad job, thought "F*ck it" and abandoned it pretending it was sorted.
